Eh I grabbed some black cardboard that I remember seeing on a light trap tutorial video before but it was for a bigger set up. It has 3 layers so I could cut 2 and still keep 1 layer intact so no light leak and easy to folder together into a box. But first thing is first. Smoke break. :eyesmoke: Feel free to join.

Its like black cardboard that has a cardboard paper layer then a foam layer then another cardboad paper layer. You can cut 2 of the layers with still 1 intact so you dont have to mess with the whole lining up and putting together. Alright I still need to pack that bowl. I keep getting caught just looking at the box. All I do is think of ways to improve it. Hoping this light trap will solve that and I can start moving my seedlings into 18/6.

I keep seeing people use those but I Just feel like they wouldn't work but I guess the more I fiddle with my box the more I can see it working but I am looking for the stealth. People rarely come into my room but every so often they do and whether they start nosing around when Im not home is going to be out of my hands and will most likely either way ask me what it is or what I am doing.

If I went bigger thats just more money than I am willing to spend at this point. Already built this shit and although the yields will be small. The next grow will only grow 1 either another bagseed or one of the fem seeds I got in the mail. The G13 PE is supposed to be Auto but I've seen mixed reviews saying that it wasn't auto so I could give that a go. And eventually it will pay for itself. Then when I've saved up and/or moved out I could go bigger. My gf even tells me to wait till we get our own place but I've already started so gonna finish. Ya dig :-P.

Would that be adequate? I mean the light is kinda facing it so even if I attach it I will be able to see the light coming from the bulbs. But that doesn't mean that light from the outside can hit the inside does it?

that should work good nice job
only way to tell is hook that shit up and turn off lights in outside room not grow room to check for light leaks

Alright I put it on but I am not satisfied, is the opening supposed to be facing the way of the bulbs? The light trap is hanging an inch and a half from the exhaust and cover the exhaust. The light however shines into the exhaust from the inside.

Correction. I turned the light on. Wrapped my face up and put it to the intake. No light was showing inside at all :). Now when I put a light source straight above the light trap I can see it though. Is that an issue or I am good as long as no direct light hits down into it? Ill know for sure tomorrow when theres day light cause I leave my curtains open during the day otherwise I supposed I can start leaving them closed all the time...but then Ill start feeling like a vampire.

Lol so is this light trap satisfactory? I am also at the moment attaching the intake one. So as long as direct light doesnt point into it I should be good then I think. The intake is a 200mm. I am still unsure of where I should add the opening for air to come in.

Okay yeah I am stuck now cause the front intake is so big I am not sure how to do the light trap. I cant do the same thing as the exhaust can I? Light would easily be able to get in the inside

I have an idea. Imagine like the exhaust design fitted over the intake facing down. Opening will be at the bottom and extend a bit from the part covering it and then open upwards. So light wont shoot inwards without being stopped and air can still flow but then I will probably need to add another fan in there to blow on the stalk of them though.
