Barneys farm - Violator Kush. (smoke/strain report)

Hi All

I have grown this strain twice , First time I didnt top them the yeild was good but the second time I topped them in veg and got way more off them, They are a beast
of a plant, It is true you do have to stalk them or tie them to something !! I would recommend anyone to try them for yeild alone, They are the only Barneys seeds I have
got and they where great!!

were yours hard to germ cause mine were, and they were slow, they alomost died.

Did you go this year? How was the Liberty Haze?

I grew Violator Kush the first time I started to grow and had it for about 2 years. The smell was appealing and complex at first then changed near the end of flowering to a really earthy- musk smell. The high was good but as I got better strains the mother was flowered out and now shes gone. Its waaay better grown outdoors. The terpenes take on a whole new level of Violator bouquet. Mine was finicky with the calcium. I crossed it with a Purps male and the results from that were much more impressive than the VK alone.

how much do you say was yield off of one plant?

Just re-researching the VK and came up onto this thread. thanks mucho!! I have 2 at 44 days of 12/12 and Mannnnnnnnn do they look super special!! First indoor grow too. Brand new grow room I built 4'4 wide"x12 long' with 7'4" ceilings. Growing 2 of the VK and 2 Barneys LSD. All 4 are about the same heights and widths. about 24w x 39H +- in 5 gal AIR pots. Wish I'd had used 6.5 gal pots but who knew they'd get this big? Vegged 2 full months hoping to get a bigger yield being only 4 out of the 8 seeds I sprouted worked. Pissed me off..but the 4 that did sprout...Whoaaa. Using all FF nutes and used some Mycorr after the first transplant...every other watering I'm using the Big bloom and Tiger bloom 2 teas per gal...also using the Beastie Bloomz and ChaChing..1/4 teas per gal every other watering. Looks like the the pistils on the 2 VK are just starting to turn in color...just a teenie tiny tinge. Says they need to go 8-9 weeks. Is that true for the most part? and when did ya'll stop feeding it nutes? If this thread is still up and running I'll take photos at lights out tonight and post them. Damn..it's been so long..pretty exciting!!! Two months of veg..never again...lol...but the snow on the trees are outstanding!!!

You should be just fine with a 8 - 9 week flower period but its all personal preference really.

My 4 girls- 44 days in 12/12 today...thats just about six weeks. I figure just use water the last week after a bit of a flush...just need to be careful when that time is...have my scope packed with new batteries...lol to check my trichs. The pistles are just changing..barely...I'm just guessing I have another 2-3 weeks to harvest. How long before you quit the nutes to harvest?

I had it growing 3 times, there is one special pheno, big calyx and bud structure,smell is nose cleansing poo fruit minty irritating strong and oily, buds are BIG! hard and dense, and it is rather roung long fat top bud, i mean not SLIM type
When smoked young, 5- 7 weeks flo, it is strongly energizing, calmed buzz but motivated, cleaning house.... amazing.. eyes are getting bigger xD
im in 8 week now, will post current pics later.
HERE old grow pictures, comments? well not enough root space, and water storage for cannopy of this size, wegged 2 or 4 months, beside uber quality bud was a little bit waste of time in there
Two plants of 5 germinated survived my cat apetite, one was super sticky and really unique aroma( hashy wrigley spearmint smell), other was good but too much on sativa side, frosty but light and loose buds.
The hard bud was face melter
some people got bad grow, either technique, or pheno, i grown about 12 plants total (-cat) i had 3 same myfav phenos ....there are less stretching and faster ones-but this one is like space shuttle with all this fuel tank stuff oll that suspended on steem its great and performs well under mh

idk my violator grew 4 inches after 12/12 so it depends on genetics an how u grow it i geuss. huge buds thooo! very frosty. now i have pineapploe chunks growin that im ot to fond of. ive never seen such stretchy, ugly plants before althou the buds smoke an smell an look insane ! also the PC is very tollerant to feeding problems.. tangerine dream is my fav! beautiful sativa that smells like bubblegum an nerds. afrodite is a great bushy plant to grow. an so is spice white devil! liberty haxe is a very strong stemmed plant thats bushy so i suggest. hope this helps someone to choose buds. peace

Yep true and i only ordered a single seed not a pack so only had one sativa looking pheno.
