Barneys farm - Violator Kush. (smoke/strain report)

They are real bushy, tedious to trim also. Beware, lol

A little update, if you have a lot of violator kush when you harvest and it sits in a jar for as long as mine has been it just keeps getting more complex with taste/aroma and effects a real treat to still watch it change in the jars, conclusion - curing is very very important, if your shit is stinky and taste good when harvested, just wait a month it gets better!

I grew out the pineapple chunk and its some pretty good smoke and the high is good to just smoked a blunt now I'm going to bed

Yea it was my medium yield plant, my biggest plant was 166.56 grams.

nice bro i got a few vk vegging so there a good yielder i guess ima keep a mother thats wat i got going at the momment and +rep on the gro bro very nice and do u have anything going im subed any suggestings on how to get the best out of them

Nice it looks like a similar pheno to what i had, i do not have a current grow as im in the process of moving, but as soon as im settled i will surely put my 1000w back to good use, i am still sitting on about 350grams from this harvest though.

Portable air conditioner/dehumidifier for cooling and RH control
4x5 grow tent
Botanicare nutrients
botanicare aeration formula which is 80% coco 20% perlite,
Feeding schedule was around 550-700 ppm every other day, drain to waist (important for flushed medium to remain non salty and nute buildups etc)
Nice healthy regimen of liquid karma, pure blend pro grow, pure blend pro bloom, Sweet berry, also used some purple maxx snow storm for K booster.

Yea LST was used and is the only way to grow imo

I'd really like that list man, a buddy of mine has used several barney's farm seeds and he RAVED about violator. He also said the red dragon wasn't anything to write home about.

I was thinking of growing this as well for a sleep/insomnia aid.

One question, were all the buds covered in crystals like that? Or just a certain pheno?

i only had 1 VK so i only experienced 1 pheno, but that 1 pheno was super crystallized with trichomes.

Great report! You persuaded to give this strain a shot.

I grew two Red Dragons and Two Van Kusk this past season. The RD's both got to about 6ft (outdoor) and made 1 1/2 lb between the two. Huge top colas and very bushy. The smoke is good, packs a good down stoney buzz with lots of giggles.
The Vanilla Kush only got to about 3 1/2 ft and both made only around 5 zips. The smoke is better than the RD IMO. It has a very fruity vanilla type semeel also, with a hint of Skunk. It is a good body stone but with a nice head high too. Good to smoke at work.
These were all fems with absolutely no herming. Not a single seed or banana found. I would grow it again, but TH SAGE is the only one I'll do over. Maybe one or two Van Kush. SAGE is hard to beat for an awesome uppity buzz with a Stony indica undertow.
