Been patient w/the Jack Herrer

As i have read numerous times of people saying jack is a great strain but...
Been flowering for 12 wks. w/beautiful full red hair dominating buds.
I see 90% of the trichromes are cloudy. The trichs seem to be more concentrated within and not so much on the outer leaves.
Will the trichs continue to produce towards the outer leaves and on the white hairs? Or is it a good idea to harvest now w/the existing trichs already cloudy? Is this also indicative of the jack strain to not be so "frosty?"
I would appreciate any input. Thanks

Also there are a huge amount of Jack Herer pheno's out there. From what I can gather most are sativa dominant and as such do tend to have a longer flowering period.

Thank you BK. I have seen the chart for along time now. I realize that i am looking for cloudy trichs. I would like to know if the trichs will continue to produce and will it be okay to keep growing knowing that the existing trichs are starting to amber?
I have a shit camera @ the moment, but please see if you can tell from the pics.
Thanks again.IMG00097.jpgIMG00093.jpg

12 weeks? That plant didn't develop properly. Your calyxes haven't filled in and your hairs are still not dry. You're gonna have wispy airy fluff when it dries. Not a whole lot to smoke.

The trichs on the surrounding leaves generally show themselves first, so if you don't have crystals on your leaves now, they're not going to appear any time in the future. Where did you get your genetics? That plant wasn't fed properly.

You are correct lordjin. She was started outdoors and dealt w/extreme heat issues. I brought her inside where she is in a 20m gal pot w/soil and been giving her the lucas formula (GH) I have a 1000watt hps on her 12-12. By herself. I have removed only the 2 buds in the pics @ this time.
Been along road w/her. Times i have felt like giving up on her but...When i look @ her next to my other sativas shes struggling to me?
But, after what shes been through, shes not too bad filling every square inch of the 4X4 tent.

Hm. I see. Then it's clearly a case of stunted bud development due to shock.

Jack Herer is a fine strain. I think you just hit a few road blocks with this particular run.

You'll work out the kinks as you grow more. Honestly, from the size of that cola in your pic, can you imagine if it developed like boxorain's. You have something to shoot for next time.

Best of luck.

Agreed! There were other instances of "shock" as well. Live and learn!
W/that said, i also have a 4x8 scrog setup w/blue dream and chem dawg under 2K. And, Holy Shit!
Your comments are appreciated lordjin.
Thanks again! :blsmoke:

Jack Herer at a bit over 7 weeks at my house under 1 Ks. I have had many strains that never did get amber trichs, and some strains that had very piss poor trich development. It looked like a very fine dusting of powdered sugar, but the smoke was devastating!!!!

Yeah, Thank God! The last but not least "experiment" is w/my pre98 bubba. I have her in a 5 gal. DWC and love her so much in that system that the future for me is just that. DWC! Love it so far. Ur thoughts? Bubba is next after 4wks of veg. Shes going under the 1K.

I don't there is a "shit" pheno of JH. It's ALL good!!!There are no visible trichs on the ones in the pics, and at 12 when I harvested, it was an extremely light dusting. We called it our "STOOPID" weed. That tell ya anything? And mine don't look anything like the ones previously posted. That has got to be a hybrid of some sort. Never seen a straight Jack look like that. Course, pure Jack is very hard to come by these days.
Not at 12 weeks, but Cannabis does have that built in survival mechanism, it will throw pollen sacs at the very end if it doesn't get pollenated sooner.

Lol Jack! Sounds good man. Like i said, i have a shit cam rt now. But, there are considerable trichs throughout. Just not as many as expected.
Thanks for your input. Lookin forward to the "stoopid" weed.:blsmoke:
