I don't there is a "shit" pheno of JH. It's ALL good!!!There are no visible trichs on the ones in the pics, and at 12 when I harvested, it was an extremely light dusting. We called it our "STOOPID" weed. That tell ya anything? And mine don't look anything like the ones previously posted. That has got to be a hybrid of some sort. Never seen a straight Jack look like that. Course, pure Jack is very hard to come by these days.
Man, I’ve never seen a Jack Herer look like those you folks have either. You obtained your genetics from Sensi Seeds? How many plants did you grow out before you selected your keeper? Sensi Seeds description of this strain seems closer to what I have than what I see in these other photos. 84 days of flower to finish??? Mine are typically 50% amber by 70 days… with shitloads of sugar coated fat calyxes.

“The sublime blend of tropical Sativa high and monstrous Indica resin production captured in Jack Herer must be seen and sampled to be believed. At their peak, buds are so thickly smothered with clear trichomes that they appear sugar-frosted or sparkling with dew-drops. This crystal-coating extends to spear-leaves, fan leaves and even to Jack’s stems and stalks.”

Took the words right out of my mouth.

I doubt this is SENSI SEEDS stock. If it was you wouldn't be complaining about Trich production.

All I know of this particular pheno is that supposedly the guy I got it from got it from one of the original breeders of JH. I know for certain that this has been passed to my cutting by cutting from 3 or 4 different people, and is a cutting of an original of whatever JH pheno it came from. But the clones from it are loaded with crystals, go figure. Just the first seed generation is lacking in big crystals. There are trichomes galore, far more than on anything I've ever seen, they are just really friggin' tiny. It kicks ass and takes names, have no doubt about that. This is some of the best JH I have ever smoked. It is a JH, of that I'm sure. Exactly what the lineage is I have no idea. I know it is an almost pure, if not pure Sativa. No Indica characteristics whatsoever.

Sounds like one of the 25% phenotypes Sensi is talking about; never seen that one myself. My JH is the same way trich-wise, very small, but densely packed in there.

those hairs should be receding and mostly orange before you chop. That harvest was premature. :( bummer, man.

Thanks Gioganja. Not a total bummer, i promise. I only chopped 2 small branches that u see trimmed. The other pics i posted of her after that cutting. So, i am still watching her fatten up . I appreciate the info on those hairs and buddy there is a shitload

Jack Herrer is a great strain that can pay off with some know how and some patients. I had a friend who flowered his for just shy of 9 weeks but it was full and dense and dank. It just took a while. 12 weeks sounds like it had stress issues that held it back. It may never bulk up. Who knows.
