Best headband genetics?

headband is a clone only cut. a polyhybrid its offspring vary so much thats why some look like sour and some look like og. it is deffinatly one of all time . look for 707 headband

Bro, there are damn few people who will give out a real 707 headband clone, at least where I am at. I've been on a road to headband now for two fookin' years--growing out many supposed headband clones that were just not headband at all, as well as a bunch of other breeders' headband (not one pheno of anything grown was headband at all). Just ordered up some Dr. Greenthumbs headband, so hope I get something close to it.

I'm about to start a journal on Greenthumbs version of Headband in the next day or two. Is there a definitive answer on the original genetics used to create headband? After a quick search it seems there is some difference of opinion on it.

loompa was on a week or so ago, and he had up some pix in a thread titled loompa farm of his head band, and i know he said it came from a clone only as i asked him about it.. might like to check out that thread dr gruber..

You have much experience with Dr Greenthumb's gear? I'm thinking about picking up a pack of Iranian Short Season for my outdoor this summer and maybe one more strain. Was looking at his Headband, C99, East Coast Sour D. Those new Iranian crosses he has look interesting too.

lol, yeah, you might say that sonar.. dr gruber is my go to guy when it comes to all things drgt hands down.. he has tons of great grow journals on here for most of drgts gear..
i'm dying to get my hands on his ecsd as i just hear it's way bomb.. i've done a few of his strains and his ghost cut of og kush is way bomb too, easily in my top 5 smokes thus far.. dying to try his bubba kush as well, but i think he just has the bubba og atm..

I'm stoked. Got my ECSD yesterday and hoping to have the headband tomorrow. I'll make a new post, and if you don't mind Dr. Gruber, I'll be picking your brain for any tips. You seem to be the go-to guy for all things Dr. Greenthumb. This is going to be an awesome grow-cant wait!

As racer said...yes i do.
Im growing one of his Iranian Haze plants right now and it smells fantastic. But, ive never run the Iranian Auto/Short season so i cant really give you much on that plant, but i can on some of its crosses.

I just started a journal with the Doc's Bubba OG and Headband. We'll see how this plays out. I'll keep it updated as often as I can.

yes, please do--i've been looking at this too, but i've got so many to grow out now that i am trying to not purchase any more beans until i get through some of the others...the buds on the loud headband pics look amazingly delicious

Amen! My Iranian Haze came in around the third week of August last summer and yielded about 1.5 pounds. Stupid early for a Haze cross and it looks smells tastes like Haze, so I think they're great value

Man I've had my eye on that ecsd for two yrs now unfortunately cnt order from there.been using att. But I can't find a true ecsd any were any advice ..Please it helps my sis she is quite sick cancer is a bitch

I grew west coast sour diesel from norstar . Spot on from the ecsd I remember.

I've been interested in hazeman's headband recently. But it's difficult to find info on because of his other strain, hippie headband - which I think has a different male in the cross (off the top of my head, something with the aloha white widow in it). But lots of seed sites mix the two up, and after reading around, it's impossible to determine the difference between the two.

but the 'hazeman headband' is supposedly the (purple urkle x loompa headband) x loompa headband bx (made by loompa). so lots of loompa

the only thing I cannot tell, is if it's special or not. So I just convinced myself to pick up a pack anyways. at $60/pk why not. But if anyone has any experience with it, I'd love to hear it. good or bad.
