Best Sativa strains from Nirvana

Looking for a really good sativa from Nirvana. Yes I know there are other breeders, however this is the one I have chosen to go with, so if you could please keep your answers pertaining to their products only that would be greatly appreciated.

I am looking first and foremost for that wonderful Sativa high, up lifting, happy, heady, cerebral high, that doesn't have a crash associated with it.

Second I am looking for a good smooth taste, something that is not harsh. It doesn't matter if it is sweet or spicy, as long as it is not harsh and tastes good.

Third I am looking for something that will clone well and is fairly easy to grow.

I am considering the following strains, however due to budget I have to narrow it down to one, I am of course open for other suggestions as long as they are from Nirvana.

The strains I am considering are:

Eldorado
Royal Flush
Full Moon
Haze
Jock Horror
Venus Flytrap ( I know it is a hybrid, but is suppose to have the sativa high)
White Castle ( Again I know it is a hybrid, but again is suppose to have the sativa high)
And possibly PPP or Chrystal, again I know these are hybrids, but are suppose have that sativa high.

I do not want to do AK48 because I have read too many reviews that say it has no flavor or the taste is bland.

I probably will not go with a hybrid, as I don't want to take any chances of not getting the high I want.

Any and all comments are welcome and very much appreciated.

Thank you.

get the Jock Horror and the royal flush. their full moon is the only thing on that list i've grown, its weird because mine got finished in 9 weeks but the site says it goes to 12 :? . get their regular seeds and cull the males. i buy 2 10 packs of whatever seed in regular form and kill the males off, so i have around 10 females to choose from to continue flowering, and end up settling on about 4-5. its 50 dollars for 20 regular seeds, which is a great deal imo.

if you have the time & patience for it, i'd say DEFINITELY get full moon! (it's actually sold under their sativa seeds line unless you get it direct from their site maybe)

it was too much of a pain in the ass to grow indoors in a mixed garden for me when it only just STARTED flowering after getting rootbound & transplanted twice and then turning hermie on me, but that tutti fruity taste is just SICK! it brings back memories of those rainbow colored candy sticks & giant lollypops i used to get as a kid that you can only find in candy stores nowadays. a trippy high with that nostalgic flavor is just too cool for words. some day, i want to take another shot at it when i can devote my entire room & a season to it or find an outdoor spot to stealth it.

white castle? sativa dominant? um... NO! it was one of the 3 stinkiest strains i've every grown along with hashberry & super funky lowdown mystery. if the buzz is sativa dominant, the odor sure as heck isn't! you better get a carbon scrubber for that one!

so far, my favorite strain is high quality seeds' haze x skunk. it's super potent with a nice degree of euphoria & motivation with a medium strength trippiness. i had a pack of original nirvana H19 skunk that i bet was just moved to their sativa seeds' line & renamed haze #1 like a couple other strains. i'd expect that one to be even better than HQS haze skunk as the nirvana version looked clearly more sativa than haze skunk which not only has a slight bit of lead eye going on, but also a mild but annoying cigar wrapper with hints of ashtray flavor i find offensive as i don't like tobacco one bit. i'd like to try it again to see how it compares.

as to the pure power plant, that one is more of a hybrid and has some stone going on from what i've read. instead of that, i'd suggest getting their urban poison instead. that one would have more durban than PPP i think.

i'll try to get a report on both eldorado & urban poison by summer. eldorado sounds more about energy & euphoria than trippiness though and trippy is the funnest part of sativa buzzes. for that, i'd say full moon, if you have the patience to grow a bitchy diva that isn't watered down followed by haze #1 (unless that one is purer than H19 skunk and fussy too)

before i got jock horror, i'd get the cross of that with the oaxican in eldorado. i forget what it's called.

thanks guys, good info for sure. The Full Moon does sound appealing, especially the trippy high. The Jock Horror cross with Eldorado is Royal Flush, another one I think may be great. Anyone with experience either growing or smoking Royal Flush? Anyone else care to chime in on this.

right... royal flush... that's it! thanks. either that, or eldorado were originally sold under the nirvana label under another name. they've moved everything more landrace than pure power plant to their sativa seeds line and raised the price a little. that's cool though. the LR stuff takes more time & energy to grow and stuff that gets you high is worth more money to me. you wouldn't happen to know if sativa seeds' haze #1 is really just nirvana's H19 skunk renamed? the #1 in particular makes me think it's a haze skunk cross. i was bummed when H19 skunk and a bunch of other strains got dropped from their line as it looked more sativa than high quality seeds haze x skunk which is more than kick ass enough for me, but would rock if the SS' version is trippier or had less of that cheesy cigar wrapper taste.

Chrystal is the plant im curing right now. its the best strain ive ever grwon of any breeder period. its about a 50/50 sativa indica high and growth pattern. my fav sativa smoke from nirvana ive ever had was Raspberry cough, it is some of the strongest bud ive ever smoked in my entire life. it was mostly sativa and had me and 2 other heavy smokers laughing our asses off after one round in the volcano. it tasted sweet and spicy and had an almost blue-ish color to it in the bag. raspberry cough is stronger and more sativa than chrystal.... if u want a more sativa like high go with raspberry cough, or full moon. i would say NYPD , as im growing one right now, but i cant speak for its smoke, only the other two.

i grew white castle over the summer... it was about the same amount of sativa as the chrystal was. they are very similar strains, the castle taste more piney, and the chrystal is more fruity. the chrystal also had a better leaf/calyx ratio. they both were absolutely filthy with resin tho. white castle has a unique social high property too... its hard to describe.

Dude nirvana seeds blow. Try mandala hashberry, satori, sadhu. Or sensi white label they are cheap and dank, I've had master kush Leda UNO too from kc brains. Hashberry I liked too so dense. Any mandala strain needs just good soil and water. Nirvanas ice I thought was ok just bland. Spend more or buy single seeds. Tga is the shit, caliconnection too. I've tried nirvanas ice, bland. Early misty, not early or misty. Northern lights, hermied also shitty. Nirvana special, ok but unstable. Big bud x skunk ok prob the best. Pappaya tasted like a gym sock. My advise buy singles or if cheap buy mandala or white label, it's sensi seeds. Greenhouse seeds despite bad reps I've found to be good and really cheap.

Greenhouses super lemon haze has a great sativa high, the chemdawg too. The kings kush is a balanced high but the grape ape phenos are great. All their hazes are renowned. Tgas apollo or really anything has a great head high. All mandala too are sativa highs

btw "Monkeymonk840" i have no idea what experience you have with those strains to compare.... i do. i have grown for a while... i know alot about horticulture, i doubt you do. so dont go posting that nirvana seeds suck because it makes it so obvious you dont know know what you are talking about. i can speak from experience that i had a crappy pheno of super lemon and a crappy one of bubba kush. i havent found but one issue out of i dunno maybe 25+ nirvana seeds? and its just a slow growing medusa plant. wow i hate retard ignorance sometimes. im not even against greenhouse... for gods sake i just bought their exodus cheese from the tude. again... i speak from experience, truth, not ignorance.

I'm on my third grow using Full Moon, and would highly suggest it. I haven't experienced any problems growing this strain at all. Very potent, smooth, and a beautiful spicy smell\taste.

wow, i guess i got lucky with my pain in the ass full moon that i gave up on when it turned hermie on me when it FINALLY started flowering as i got the tutty fruity pheno. i still have 2 beans of that i'm keen to try again when i can give them more attention than a crowded room with several strains going on at once.

thanks for the info. I think I am going to stay away from the hybrids, and stick to one of the truer sativas. I am getting a little scared away from the Full Moon, even though the high and taste sound incredible, I have read lots of stuff about it being really hard to grow, and lots of hermie problems.

Drake did you use regular seeds for your Full Moon? I am wondering if all the hermie problems I have read about with that strain coming from the feminized seeds? I am not getting the fem seeds, I will be getting the regular seeds of whatever strain I do get.

I am also just a little weary of Royal Flush as there have been some people reporting that the high is sometimes more indica, even though I do not know how that could be possible since it is a cross between eldorado and jock horror, both of which I believe to be sativas?

Anyone else care to chime in, this is good info, and is a big help.

fem seeds IMO are for individuals with a strict grow space that has everything needed to mass produce and reduce stress, otherwise you are gonna stress plants in a makeshift environment like a closet or tent, you need a quality grow area for fem seeds IMO, so i dont bother with them as they can be a waste of time nd fuck up some of my crops and breeding projects. happened once and been trying to avoid it like the plague. some seed companies have reliable fems, Nirvana is not one of them. if you want a quality sativa dont look at nirvana, their indica's are alot better than the sativa's they offer.
Ive been growing Delta 9 labs gear for over 2 years now, their Southern lights is amazing cross of NYCD(soma's) and one of Paradise seeds best Sensi star. also their Cannasutra yields really well. and their Brainstorm HazexG13 is an incredible sativa.
Cali connections also has really good OG kush crosses that are sativa dominant.
Try TGA, 7-10 week flowering times on all the strains on the roster. i love Vortex and Pandora's Box so those might be interesting to you. excellent, and i mean better than most stuff in seed form available.

Nirvana is a good, solid breader. In my opinion, Nirvana is definately consistent. Much of what they have are knock-offs, but they did a good job at developing them. If you want Nirvana gear, have you considered ordering their stuff from Attitude? Don't get me wrong. I do order from Nirvanashop directly. But, the Attitude has a pretty good Nirvana pick and mix section.

Newbie1122 - All three grows of the FM have been from feminized seeds. First grow used one seed, then cloned a couple from that plant for the second grow. I popped two more seeds for the third round. I kind of wanted to see what type of variation within the seed packet - seems like very little.

The two plants I have going for this round are only slightly different. One is about a foot taller then the other, but very similar structure. On one plant, I removed all the lower branches and pinched off popcorn buds early on. This plant appears to be maturing faster, with more\earlier trich development. The other "all natural" plant is just purely developing into a monstress.

Here are a couple of pics from 46 days into flowering. Grow is 2 FM 3 Ice. Main cola pic is FM.

Full Moon 46 Days Flowering.jpg
Mix FM and Ice 46 Days Flowering.jpg

Hazey - Maybe I just got lucky with this batch of seeds, but I have not had any go hermie on me. The "stripped" version appears to be a cal\mag hog, so I started pumping up my teas by adding a bit of garden lime per batch. Stabilized that plant and probably helped the rest.

FYI - Here is my process:

Soil: FFOF

Ferts: None until flowering stage. Then AACT for every feeding. Kind of alternate the mix, going from full strength to half strength. EWC, mol solution, and liq kelp for the weak solution. Add various guano for stronger solutions. Use 1\2 tsp garden lime in all teas now. Topdress with a mix of EWC, Epsoma, and a bit of kelp meal.

Lights: CFL veg (about 6 weeks) 400W HPS to finish.

Ventilation: 340 CFM inline blower, 250 CFM carbon filter. Full size recip fan.

Temps: Veg on this grow ran 75F and kept humidity at ~55. Flower is 70F with humidity 35%.

As mentioned, this is my third grow with FM. Fourth grow total.

Peace
