she huffed and puffed around the blind two days in a row, with a good sized buck staying 30 yards out. just above avg size doe, but still young, there will be many of jalapeno cheddar sausage links going out for christmas.

I know this isn't big game but I put about 40 of these in the freezer over the last week. My big buck wont be back until around first of the year.

Cheap off brand spring gun. Drives nails at 50 yards. My good one stays at home.

I will say that hunting squirrels with a pellet gun is growing on me. It is a bit of a challenge.

It doesn't make much noise. They come back out in a few minutes compared to 30-40 min after a shotgun blast.

Hell sometimes you'll have 2 of em playing and blast one, the other idiot will sit there looking for his buddy while you reload(mines single shot).

Those things aren't the old Red Ryder's that we grew up with. I saw a video of a guy that shot and killed a wild hog with one.

Mine are too. break barrel. The cheap one use a spring. I have a Benjamin that use a nitro piston. Both have rifled barrels and can drive nails with them.

Have you seen the .357 and .50 cal air guns you hunt big game with?

You are right. These will fire an aluminum pellet fast enough to break the sound barrier. It freaky. Cracks like a .22 rifle.
