Psytranceorgy 2.9oz AK-48 start to finish blackstar led 240w (Only no other light source) to beat
i know a few people have these flowring lights but no one is showing results
i have mine ready to start as soon as i get the tent off ebay are you intested to see whats the highest yielding. Winner get a free pack of best yielding led strain seeds i will post competition dates when my tent is finished

I have a fem papaya germinating right now, if I keep my journal updated can I start early? And are we allowed to add a few cfls for heat?

well I thought you said with no other light source... it dont matter because I dont think I can take part to this, but might as well add a 400Whps to keep the room nice and warm!!hehe Unless Mighty boston decides an additional wattage allowed for supplemental light... I think it would be more fun to see people using only the blackstar... a true green thumb competition!!! Another thing with a competition like this is that its hard to tell whether or not participants are only using the blackstar... as suppose to a party cup competition where you cant fake pictures!! good idea though I hope you get a bunch of contestants!!

lol I dont have an hps light, I spent all my money on LED panels and fem seeds from holland LOL

Mighty if you dont have a certain Wattage specified it is not really a competition. You said in your post ONLY the Blackstar 240 but you say its ok to use cfls, those are also a light source. A guy with another 50W of CFL have the upper hand.

Guess the winner will atleast have to harvest 8.5 oz to have a realistic chance. (1 gram per watt)

nice my light came today bit disappointed because theres no light hangers with it is whats the easiest way to hang that bugger up

The competition needs to be all led the whole grow and then measure weight per watt. That way no matter what you are using it is still comparable.

I think the thread specifies blackstar 240w contest, the cfl idea was put forward by me then successfully argued against by Endur0xx, so as is it seems its a BS240 contest, if you rly want it to be more controlled then it should be same nutes/strain/breeder/and training style. But that might be going too far lol :)

yeah there should be no clfs it wouldn't look good seeing this is the LED Thread. Good point but we are just looking for a strain that works particularly well under the blackstar but if we find the led super strain maybe then we could all grow the same strain. as for my i will be using everything canna including coco.

i just got the blackstar 240 and im really excited to use it.. I will have pictures up in the next couple days of my LED set-up.
I have a TGA Plushberry in its first week of veg under t5's. Im gonna throw that plushberry under the blackstar when i get my new tent in place, and hopefully the Plushberry will be female because that will be my test plant if so. But if not, im getting a couple BC The Black clones and ill put one of them under the blackstar.. I cant wait til its all set up!
