Blue Cheese Flowering Question HELP!!

Hello. I vegged two Blue Cheese Fems for a month and a half. They are short stocky beasts at 2-3 ft. with lot of side branches.
Upon switching to 12/12, I saw my white pistils. They are forming on the main stalk as well as the other normal places. They have been flowering for 13 days now.
The problem is that I feel I should be seeing more bud formation rather than just a bunch of pistils. Is it taking longer b/c of the veg time?
I'm running a 13 gallon res. into two waterfarms @1300 ppm. Under a 250 HPS Hortilux.
Am I just being impatient? I know there is not a light leak.

We need some pictures brotha, but from the description that you gave you should be right on track. The first 1/3 of flowering the plant is really focusing on stretching out and growing and a lot less on actually building flowers".

You should have noticed over the past 13 days your plant has gotten a lot taller and shouldn't look so bushy and compact anymore.

give it a few more days man, trust me one day it will explode if your doing it right
Thanks man, I am pretty sure I am doing it right although it's my first hydro grow. I have been calculating my nutes using the GH website calculator, and my ppm's have been spot on. Hoping they are just taking thier time. Not gonna veg em so long next time, they are giant!
:bigjoint:
Thanks again

Thanks man, you are definitely right about the growth. I really appreciate the help. Also, when should I start my ripening nutes phase at 540 PPM? I am using GH Flora Series. The Template has 4 res changes in the bloom phase, what confuse me about that is that it says to add a considerable amt of Flora Gro which has a high Nitrogen content. It does say add the most of the L Kool bloom which has a lot of phsphourous. Should I forego the F Gro b/c of the high Nitrogen and just Add a little more F Micro because of the low N to P-K ratio?
Again, thanks for the help guys!

Oh yeah, did I mention we want pictures? I just got my Big Bhudda Blue Cheese from Attitude and I'm excited to see someone else grow it. I'm probably going to start germing this coming weekend.

Good luck...

As far as I can tell, B.C. consistently takes a little longer than her colleagues to start looking impressive, but she will catch up.
I can't wait to see some pictures.
