Blurple Led Yes or NO?

I have a blurpee and the thing is AWESOME! My plants look just like the magazines and the smoke is primo so don't listen to anybody suggesting that a light wont grow BOMB ass bud just cuz it's from china. However... I do have a little money to play with so I'm going to purchase a Cob from timbergrowlights just so I can try it out myself. Then i can either call people out on the bull shit or tell them they were right.

P.s.... Everybody says their lights are the best. I know a guy who swears he can grow just as good bud as anybody with cfl's. I would read reviews of people who actually bought and own the shit.

Beware that people who support Cob lights will tell you that the reviews on blurpies are all done by mentally unstable people who smoke crack. Cob suporters will tell u that you can trust ANY review on Amazon... Except Blurpie reviews. Those are the only reviews on Amazon, that are falsified in order to throw off the buyer. It's all a big conspiracy according to Cob light supporters. Amazon is in on it too. They get a kick back from china for writing fake reviews, and for only letting the unstable crackheads review their lights...

Oh... All blurpie lights have a built in timer that will shut the light down after 2 months so you have to go buy another one. it's a secret only Cob light supporters know about. Shhhhhhhhh
Thanks bro, had a lot of discouragement from fellow members on other posts about using blurple likes

I have been doing alot of reading and i hear blurple led is not the way to go
I’ve got a 2000w blurple and it does wonder. People will say on here “oh don’t buy that just because they are cheaper and everything has to cost hundreds of thousands for it to work. That’s just propaganda. I grew a plant that yield well with just some sunlight and regular led bulbs. just make sure what your buying and ur not getting scammed.

To the OP- I used one crappy blurple 300w galaxy hydro on one plant this spring and I got 2.25oz from it with zero training, pretty much neglect at it's finest, in a 3 gallon pot in soil. The branches were lanky and not filled in very well. I needed more light.

Now, I have 2 of those mediocre blurple 300w and one not so blurple viparspectra 600w, all in a 4x4 space with 6 plants and it's looking just great and I may get those filled in branches I am hoping for. I'm on week 4 flower, but I already see this grow doing much better than my spring grow.

There is just my experience for you! Happy growing, friend.
Can I share what I did after doing exactly what you did above?

My crop came out better and I pulled 5 ozs with similar light and in the same tent. I assume you're growing the same or similar yielding strain as your first grow.
What I wanted next was denser, and larger nugs. I wanted the yields and so I did the math to see how I SHOULD have done IF I did it right.
It made me cry that I should have averaged 1.5-2LBS in a 4x4 tent.

THE MATH:
2 mediocre 300w lights = 30 x 2 = 60W
viparspectra 600w light = 60 x 1 = 60W
Total "real" Watts = 120W

Compared to:
1 600W HID lamp = 600W

600/120 = 5X efficiency ratio
5ozs(my yield) X 5 = 25ozs = 1.5LBS

THE LESSON:
Spend at least $500 on lights and get the most out of your plants.

Old ass post revived from the dead to a person that hasn’t been on here in a year at least. But one 600w hps will kill any burple any day. One good full spectrum led from hlg, photontek, next light and what not will easily keep up with a 1000 w de. Next move up to true 1k leds or bigger ie foshe ai3 ( 1500w ) is just a monster that will net you 5-7 lbs a light. I know a commercial buddy running a couple of rooms full of the ai3‘s and they’re a beast at 80% power.
