tahoe very sorry to hear this, I'm actually a survivor of a drunk punk driver.. wrecked my life, mentally/physically, I'm ever afraid to drive but have to, I have to live with knee, back and neck pains, sad to say at times I wished i'd never of survived it can be that bad.. on the humor side I went out and bought a big truck and am thinking about a roll cage..
I never really liked people who drink, mainly because my dad is a drunk peice of shit, but I try not to judge .. to each their own, however if you decide to drink and drive, you are nothing but a DRUNK PUNK!!
Sorry bongspit, but got hit with a sore spot, felt like I had to say something in regards.. oh yeah did I mention your shit is looking sweet!

DUDE...no problem, that sucks. hey guys...thanks....no worries with my sister....it was one of those experiences that I would rather not have had...but as I get older....there are those types of experiences, they happen....you adapt, adjust....and then without merely a blink of an eye....life keeps soldiering forward...I think the time that made the biggest impression upon me whas when my dad passed on.....its like the world never even skipped a beat....how can that be....something so fundamental to your existence...and yet so completely inconsequential at the same time.....a real eye opener for me...thanks again...and don't mean to hijack the htread....

hey Bongspit...sorry to hear 'bout ur dad.....and thanks for the licence to hijack.....now get to the ground and gimme ur money!....hahahahaha...no anywho....I'm totally with you on that one...I was very fortunate to not have some of the probs that I hear so much about with parent's abuse...though mine was pyschological abuse (severe manipulation (and I believe quite unconcious....his dad did it....etc) dangling carrots, strings attached, conditional love...shit like that)....and I have sworn to not be that way with my kids ..... and I have had friends tell me that I have broken that mould, and that makes me feel good.
The reality is....in my view.....nothing is that important....nothing will stop the world....so you need to take care of what you can take care of when you can take care of it....cuz....in the blink of an eye.....it will all change. peace man!

I AM SO FUCKIN ANGRY RIGHT NOW...I WAS JUST LISTENING THE THE RADIO....AND LAST NIGHT @7PM....A CEMENT TRUCK DRIVER JUST TOOK OUT A WHOLE FUCKIN FAMILY (husband, wife and three young chilren)....SPEED AND ALCOHOL WHERE A FACTOR.....SHIT....WHY AND HOW CAN THIS CONTINUE TO HAPPEN!

I have never understood the fascination our society has with alcohol. Happy hour has always blown me away, you drive to a bar or restaurant and they sell you 2 drinks for the price of one and then you have to drive home. Did you ever see the episode of top gear where they tested driving high and driving drunk? The guy that had the joint actually did better after a dooby, the guy drinking got worse and worse.

that reminds me...i remember a Car and Driver edition in August 1980......holy sh*t why do I remember that.....prolly cuz I was high at the time...hehehehe....anyhow, they did a simlar test...same results....the key was making sure you could concentrate....but if you do concentrate then performance is elevated or imporved....this drinking and driving thing is just too much for me some days!......I flew back from a work term in a Lear45 one late night...and the boys all socked back the scoth the whole 5 hour trip back....and then immediately all jumped into their cars and drove home, never even blinking an eye....I was totally disgusted! cheers!

Drinking sucks .. PERIOD! and they made it legal banning marijuana, go figure.. this world is "F*CKED UP!" however there are some that appreciate the alcohol on occasion, special, social occasions and are fine with it, I'm not saying ban alcohol .. I'm screaming "LEGALIZE MARIJUANA!!"
