Brainwash In Schools

Where I live they just launched an anti marijuana program that is going around to schools and telling kids how bad cannabis is. To me this is rediculous to just target marijuana when we have soo much other drugs that they turn a blind eye to. thousands of homeless where I live and most of them do meth, crack and heroin so this just drives me crazy. To single out the only illegal substance that has yet to kill one person. By all means I would never advocate the use of cannabis in kids but I sure as hell wouldn't lie to them. What happens when the kids go home and notice that the same plant the schools are teaching us the dangers of is the same medicine daddy or mommy uses ? Now the kids gonna think his family is drug addicts and criminals. This is not right, I still remember when I was in elementary school and the D.A.R.E program was trying to get kids to turn in family members. I remember thinking cannabis was just as insane as heroin when I was in like 4th grade, because that's what they taught me.

They should say hey kids if you smoke pot you go to jail no matter what the reason. Yep kids the police will run up in you house with guns to your parents heads and hope you dont have a dog cause they will shoot it. People are dumb.

I just spent 12 years in public schools and all i ever heard about was things like, "If you smoke weed once you will get lung cancer!" or, "The only people who smoke marijuana are low lifes that live in bad areas. It made me so mad having to listen to this bs when i knew 2/3 or the American population have smoked marijuana at least once.

I'd rather they send a message about legal drugs such as alcohol and tobacco that kill many people instead of a plant that has yet to kill anybody. This world is crazy

It's dangerous because it makes their message about actual drugs watered down. Why would a kid believe you about the dangers of crack or heroin when they know you lied through your fucking teeth about marijuana? They will think you are lying about everything.

The one that got the worst rat when I was in school was lsd.. I remember them making it sound like lsd was the top of the top.. If you ever did lsd you automatically died, jumped off a building, or became 'addicted'.. The only time I even heard of methamphetamines was when theyd show us the before and after pictures... But we mainly learned about marijuana.. How could a dare officer even go home at night and be happy? They know they are lying there is no way.. Unless they are fat with a lisp and keep their arms crossed costantly wearing a pair of aviators..

It is all about job security and the fringe benefits. The police departments need to justify their budget requests to legislature. The cops need to think they will have a job tomorrow. AND MOST IMPORTANTLY IT IS THE FRINGE BENEFITS!!! Anyone who knows anybody who has been raided you know what I mean. If there is say $20,000 cash it turns into about $5000 by the time it goes into the evidence room and reports get filed. In a really corrupt department they will even grab a share of the weed itself and sell it to their trusted and protected distributors for cheap cash in exchange for silence. It may sound crazy but where I come from (Maine) this is common practice. I actually have a close friend that is a deputy sheriff and he is all about the fringe benefits. I cringe at this attitude and ask how he can sleep at night but it goes in one ear and out the other. About time we stand up to these people.....get motion cameras, hide them well and record all movement and do not disclose until you speak with your lawyer. It is the way to beat them because their word is gold and 10 peoples under oath comments get trumped by 1 dirty cops testimony....cameras don't lie. When reefer madness goes away so does their budget and they know it.....crack and meth is just too dangerous because a lot those guys will shoot back if they have a gun handy not to mention the explosive risks they face every time they enter a meth lab. The nicest house on our lake is owned by a deputy sheriff that can not by law make more than $49,000 based on his rank but his house is at least $600,000 and his wife does not work. This is also very common for most sheriffs in my area.

I remember every year in middle school we would have a presentation by the police about drugs, drunk driving and guns. They covered so many drugs in that thing. It was so fucking graphic to,I cant believe they showed us these pics.It was pretty much just trying to scare everyone. They had pics of peoples whole bodies burnt from drunk drivers and they really showed us pics of people who had there head blown off with an AK and they said if you smoke marijuana this is the kind of violence you'll eventually encounter.

Them cops were not qualified at all to be doing that program.I still cant believe they would show that kind of shit to kids.I know for damn sure if that shit were shown now it would be on the national news with parents going crazy trying to get it canceled.
They also tried to get us to snitch on are parents about "illegal activities" lol.And in case your wondering that program didn't work at all lol.
