Hope the other one catches up!

Could you describe your set up a bit more please? It looks amazing and super stealthy but I have no idea about..

-How big is the container, and how much gallons of water does it hold
-net pot size
-CFL wattage and lumen count?

Thanks!

its a renovated computer server case. About 27" tall... as far as the container just a regular plastic container liked with foil tape... it would say it hold almost a gallon.

The bulbs that i have now is 4 27watt 6500k bulbs.... the net pots are 3" netpots i think...

in general i have the sides of the case lined with reflective material and then there is one big intake fan and one exhaust fan.... My case is VERY similar to the one on pcgrowbox.com....

overall seems to be working pretty well... except for that one plant on the right....

anything i didnt answer? ask.

UPDATE:

11/3/10 -
today marks the 1 month anniversary since i planted the seed into the rockwool. The growth is EXPLODING! PLUS my runt plant has returned to a beautiful dark green color and is catching up to the other plant in no time! I haven't really made any changes besides adding the Fox Farm Liquid Big Bloom. Also in the last water change I used CVS brand distilled water... maybe a better quality water?? Either way the plants are doing GREAT and I can't wait for the next few days... (In 1 day it grew 1.3 inches. )

PICS!

You mean both are one month old ? because the size difference is really big.

yea if you look at some of the previous pics you can see that the one on the left has had some trouble. Could never figure it out until now. But all is good now!

Ok, that makes sense hehe. It's a cool setup you've over there and the big plant looks great for a month, good to hear the small one made it too ;)

Did any of them grow preflowers ?

Looking good Big! Sub'd
Definately forward to seeing how they turn out. I also have a Bubblicious grow groing. I use RO water. I just fill 5 gallon water bottles from the Glacial water machines. My local CVS has one right out front of the store. It's a lot cheaper too $0.75 for the 5 gallons. Just a suggestion you might want to turn the lights to 12/12 they will double in size during flowering. Looks lik eyou have a really limited height restriction. Also Humbolt's Bush Master is also very good for limiting/stopping vertical growth. Pricey at $35 at my local hydro store for basically using less than 5mls. But the bottle will last a long time!

Here is couple pics of week 1 flowering to now beginning of week 5.

Might be hard to tell because I moved the light up but the tops of the plants now are where the top of the ducting is coming off the light in the 1st picture. I also have been foliar spraying with Bush Master the past week so it has helped limit most of the growth over the past week. Probably around 12"+ of growth during the 4 weeks.

They are supposed to be autoflowering.... do you think i should still change the lights?

Nice setup man. I wish I had the room for that. I think I am going to renovate the closet and use some lowes buckets so I can get some bigger plants. Mine seems to be getting cramped in the pc grow case.

Thanks man! Yeah always want more room! I'm no expert by any means. I have few outdoor grows under my belt but this is my 1st attempt at indoors. I think it might help the process along by flipping the lights to 12/12. Sorta up to you on how long you want to wait? I don't have any experience with auto's so...If you want the smaller of the 2 to catch up you could also top the bigger one...well you could top the smaller one for that matter too. Renovating to get bigger plants is always good too...can get pricey though! Not an easy thing to recreate mother nature in a closet!

Check out Uncle Ben's 2/4 cola method.

11/4/2010 - not a major update but I finally took the time to look and I indeed can see preflowers or pistils on just about every node. Don't have pics yet... but shortly I will post.... i have to smoke first.

11/10/10 - So the explosion of growth in the plants has continued... which makes me believe that they have entered the flowering stage... I have also changed 2 of the light bulbs to the flowering 2700k spectrum. I have some big plans for tomorrow though. I will be removing my plants from the pc grow case and putting them into 2 home depot buckets. Thankfully, they have outgrow the case and very little of the middle growth is getting light. Wish me the best of luck...

Typically how long on an auto flowering plant should I actually start to notice bud?

PICS!!

BIG CHANGE!

:leaf::leaf::leaf::leaf::leaf::leaf::leaf::leaf::leaf::leaf::leaf::leaf::leaf::leaf::leaf::leaf::leaf::leaf::leaf::leaf::leaf::leaf::leaf::leaf::leaf::leaf::leaf::leaf::leaf::leaf:
11/11/10 - So today I went out and got some 2 gallon buckets, cut a hole in the side for the air hose and a hole in the top for the net pot. The set up is not complete... well for the most part. I plan to make some final adjustments later on. Hoping that this will allow the plants to bush out a little more and THRIVE! I will admit I am getting a little nervous due to the fact that I am over a month in and I see the pistils (i think) but nothing else has happened.... I think today I am going to switch it to 12on 12off.

Also I got some 2700k 26w CFLs from a friend along with the splitters and power cords to suspend the bulbs over and sort of beside the plants. Eventually I plant to get rid of all the other clutter that you see and put my other 2 plants that I have not been journaling(sp?) in there.

¿QUESTION¿: My friend had to get rid of his plant in the middle of flowering, he ended up giving it to me. The plants light cycle is 12 on 12off.(turns on at 8am off at 8pm) I have them in the same closet but blocked off with a black bag. If I were to just adjust my autoflowering bubblicious on the same 12on 12 off would that mess anything up? The plants current light cycle is 18on 6off (turns on at 7pm and on for 18hrs)

Wow this is like a math problem!

Thanks, happy growing.

Make sure there is no light at all getting through that black bag...Those black trash bags aren't completely light proof. If there is light getting through when the plant thinks it is dark (8 pm- 8am) the plant will think it is vegging again and stop producing flowers.
To answer your question as best as I can...don't know about auto's but if you put a regular plant on 12/12 it will start to flower. So no I don't think it will hurt but just help it along to flower.

Let me tell you. You need to be cautious around those "auto" bubblelcious they aren't true auto flowering strains. if you don't see any preflowers after 4 weeks. you NEED to put your plant into 12/12 otherwise you'll wait to long and before you know it you'll finally decide to do 12/12 on your bubble when she's 2 feet tall and end up with a fucking tree in your closet.

do a little search around here. nobody's auto bubble's have actually autoed

i know from experience because i'm currently growing an "autoflower" bubblelicious however i'm already on week 5 of flower because I put it into flower like a regular strain.

No doubt. Who would have thought being a stoner would be so freakin' academic! This shit ain't easy, but once you get it, other stoners will look at you like you're a god.

:)

To answer your question, yes, you can flip them to 12/12. I've moved autoflowers into a longer dark period all the time when I run out of room in the 18/6 room.
