Good smoke, though. Pretty plant when she's all done. The buds feel like silk.

Yea, so last night I just switched my bubblicious autoflowering to 12/12. Hopefully the budding shall begin!

about how long after you switched to 12/12 did bud start to form?

It took 7 days from the switch for me to see hairs. I flowered for 8 weeks. I could have went longer for bulk, but patience is a virtue I do not have.

I finished some bubblelicious auto. Well it didn't auto. Good smoke, still curing, when I did hit some it was pretty harsh. Kind of a stoney high. Check out my journal if you want, it's in my signature.

Your plants are looking great btw.

My bubblicious has officially started flowering! Thank god! Pics are to follow.

UPDATE!

11/29/10- It's been a while since my last update, and a lot has changed. I sure you can notice from the pics that the growth has exploded since my last update! Hopefully it slows down or I will run out of room. Anyways... after waiting forever the buds are finally starting to form. What a relief to see those white hairs! I have kept up the same nutrient schedule for the flowering stage with my fox farm nutes. And the plants are loving it!

I also have a pic of a plant that my friend had to get rid of a few weeks ago in the middle of the flowering... I have taken over caring for the plants and here are a couple pics of that plant.

Nice! I think my bubblicious stretched a lot during first few weeks of flowering.

Did you have to induce flowers with 12/12? those are growing well under 4+ cfl's I'm impressed and that midway plant should be some good smoke until the bubb;es finish, Also I'd try to get those motors and electrics off the ground in case you have an accidental spill, safety check.....

yea i did 12/12 and about a week and a half later they started budding...

I don't where I saw it but seems that Nirvana's auto strains have been shitty here for few. A lot of people have been problems with them autoing.

yea... seems like you here that everywhere... thinking about emailing them and complaining... who know I might get some free seeds out of it.

12/9/10 - The bud is continuing to form, and now many of the buds are starting to look as if they had been dusted with sugar! I'm getting excited now! I do have one little concern, today I noticed a couple of the pistils started to look like they were forming into a little ball. I may be over paranoid but I really hope the plant isn't going hermie on me. Got some pics... give me you opinion. I will keep a close eye!

On a side note - On my first post I told you guys I planted some blue mystic on soil and today marks the day that they are ready for flowering! I will not have a total of 5 plants all flowering at the same time. (will be able to harvest within a few weeks of each other) I will post pics of these a little later.

I thought the same thing but those are the calyx's they are a good thing. I picked couple off and checked and mine contained few tiny white seeds but nothing to worry about. You want to check out the calyx's when you are getting ready to harvest they are a good indicator other than the trichs to know when the time is right.

You don't need to chop down a hermi just make sure you cut off the balls anytime you see them forming. If you're to late and the plant self pollinated your chronic will just be seedy and not up to its full potential but still plenty smokeable.

Thats exactly what I am just finishing growing. There was supposed to be real issues with the genetics of the autos so I pretty much had them on 12/12 within a couple days of cracking from the soil.

Nirvana sent me new seeds to replace them but i already had these 2 sprouted so I let em go.. VERY glad I did

Actually I read more of your post & I had the same issue. Littel balls which I thought were the plant going Hermi. Turns out it was just swollen calyxes. Same white seed in the middle etc.

Looks good Carl. Yeah I have read all over the place that Nirvana's auto's are super shitty right now. I cut mine down here about a week ago and no seeds. We all had the same looking calyx's.

@Carl.burnette - you plants look really nice man. How much you thin kin each plant will yield after curing/drying?

I don't know. I don't have a scale. Volume wise I suspect I will get 3-4 500 ml mason jars when dry. That;s what I got off my 2 Norther Lights.

I might have more this time though because I used 8 t-12 48" tubes for my first grow. The buds were great but when pretty light & airy when they dried. I switched to the HPS & these buds seem more dense so although I expect similar volume, I suspect the actual weight may be higher.

I only grow as a hobby for my own personal use. I have never gotten a scale because then I could be busted for trafficing or intent I think.

Although, if the police busted me it would be a sad day when my 2 little plants in the basement would be a priority to any police officer. But better safe that sorry.

Here's a picture of my first grow & then one of this one. I think this ones more. As you can see I burned the hell out of my first grow. Actually, now that I look at them side by side I think Im gonna get a fair bit more with this one.
