Can anyone tell me what these brown spots are?

The plant is two weeks old, no auto, just transplanted to Hempy from starter soil in an 8 oz cup. Feeding it 1/2 strength FloraNova Gro. The very bottom leaves turned brown, new growth looks good except these spots are now appearing on two leaves. Also notice the yellowing on the perlite. Is that possibly from being close to the lights? It's under 4 26 watt 6500k CFLs. Well, its directly under 1 of them.

I like to hit em with a mist of mint spray once a week or so, seems to help stamp out the botrytis that inevitably appears....Is this a hempy or a soil mix? Seems like you have a little organic matter in there?, if so, cover the top with a thin layer or compost or EWC.

Thanks Hexhat. Albiqua, this is a hempy transplanted from an 8 ounce cup of soil. What you see is the soil from the cup (which has seedling nutes . Think I should go straight water until the nutes in the soil are used
?

Any ideas? Is it because of the little soil and should I just go straight water, or maybe water and cal/mag?

Is that not just where shes been sitting in moisture or even just had some nute mix splashed on her?

Don't stress it yet. Looks like she's from seed. They do that sometimes..
Thanks for the vote of confidence. And you are correct it is from an NL auto feminized seed. These are my first "real" seeds and first hydro attempt. I just want to do it right. :)

That is where water has accumulated from either being splashed on or misted on (wich you do) and has dried while under the light and magnification and viola... You get those spots. I have also had a buddy get those same spots from pushing those bottom leaves (accidentally of course) down into the perlite while transplanting causing slight leaf damage from the rough edges of the perlite. Your problem looks water related though.

nonsense, this is nute splash, and your plant needs a light feed, don't worry and carry on

Right now I wouldn't worry. But if it starts showing up on other leaves, it's a problem.
IMO it appears as though the leaf has suffered some sort of damage from an external force:)

Ok ,you grow commercially . Guess you know everything and there are no variables in nature. If you are this ignorant then continue to harvest your giant crop of (could have been better if you listened to someone who knew their shit)! Sorry for being so small minded..
