Can I smoke in here?

Or are you guys gonna be dicks about it?

word up, shitcocks. looks like ol' bucky might be packing up the homestead for a location within an hour of downtown denver.

any of you motherfuckers have some advice about good growing climates, chill municipalities, and the like?

the flat part east of town scares me because of how windy it is, like it could strip the plastic off a greenhouse. moving up into the mountains has the temperature tradeoff, and i don't see any easy and cheap way to heat an enormous greenhouse or four.

and beyond all that, i understand some locales are not so cool with the whole cannabis thing.

like i said, anywhere within an hour of downtown is acceptable, need some place that is hospitable to a decent size outdoor grow.

got any hints? where to avoid? where might work?

thanks in advance.

The Boulder area is pretty friendly to cannabis, Nederland, Lyons, etc. That area is recovering from the flooding, though. Housing prices are a bit higher around Boulder and finding a rental is nearly impossible right now. A purchase may get you a deal....

I have been working on compiling all the local bans, etc. but have made little progress lately, as things have changed with recreational marijuana being passed. Generally, the more rural, the less friendly. In fact some counties in northeast Colorado votes to secede from the rest of the state, marijuana being one of the major factors.

Having said that, many mountain or foothills towns are pretty chill. Breckenridge (more than an hour from Denver) is very friendly, many ski towns are, but most are too far from Denver for you.

This map on wikipedia shows what counties voted for Amendment 64 in Green. Red is against cannabis. Notice the red patch just south of Metro Denver, that is El Paso county, I think. Then the island of red further down is Colorado Springs area.

Let me know if you have more questions, happy to help....

NOOOOOO!!!! lol

I'm still a bit ticked at you for finally running off Finshaggy... dude was lame but comical...

It's windy all over out here on the front range from March to June. Just how it is. True, the Eastern plains can get tornadoes, but the foothills can get straight line sustained winds over 50 mph.... seen it and put up a new privacy fence because of it. That said, try to get a place with some trees around the perimeter of the back yard to block the wind. The house I just moved from was perfect for growing outdoors. In fact the folks I sold it to paid top dollar because it's a nice neighborhood but no covenants or hoa - they will be growing in the backyard next summer, same as my neighbor did this summer and the guy 2 doors down.... and that's just the ones I know about. My old lady wouldn't let me  but I was able to parley her guilt into a new gorilla tent and the latest lights right on the foreskin of technology.

Just please tell me you aren't coming out here for the green rush cause if so don't bother. I predicted awhile back that we would see industrial level grow ops based on local power generation and heat recovery. It's happening. I read an article the other day that referenced a big greenhouse op (based on the tomato greenhouse model) hiring up college ag students and such. While the ludicrous taxes will add some dollars to cost, you are about to see pounds of weed go wholesale for numbers I ain't even brave enough to predict lest y'all heap the derision upon me.....

I just just moved from Castle Rock, which is conservative as fuck but plenty of folks growing weed there.

no, moving to be near family. but family has offered to stake me and put up some major capital if i want to present a business plan.

I choose option 2.
oh, hey there.

you still sad? or r u mad bro?

there is no need to be so upset. let the grudges and pain and butthurt of a year ago slip away.

if you need to, i have this great book on tape that is supposed to help people like you. it basically consists of chanting "benghazi" for the first 45 minutes, and then "they just want free shit" for the next 45 minutes.

also, please go outside. you stink.

Speaking of smelling fishy, you have family willing to financially back a business yet can't offer advice on something as simple as where to live? Seems legit... we have plenty of dumbfucks out here failing miserably to build a hempire. I cant wait to watch this shit show.

i must be the first person ever to solicit advice from locals.

why so angry still?

your savior lost over a year ago. all your stupid predictions proved to be false.

your worldview was soundly rejected in an electoral landslide for obama (AGAIN!).

just because you're a failure who grows a couple plants in the closet alongside your latent sexuality doesn't mean you have to get all angry and bitter with me.

go cry elsewhere, you are not being helpful at all here.

just cranky and bitter.
