"SHE" is looking great Catt. Shorty is a great experiment as far as I can tell. I'm guessing it will be telling evidence of what happens when you grow out a hermie offspring. Some say it will produce babes and some say that is bullshit. I have always subscribed to the school that says it doesn't BUT I sure hope this little grow of Miss Shorty works out and proves me wrong. I think it's cool your devoting the time to sumpin that just might not work out so well. (nothing personal).. I gots to know though WHY did you not grow a few other seeds along with her just for the hell of it?:?:

I would't say it's time to step up your game but rather time to expand on your successful growing. You didn't pinch, lst, super crop, or whatever the first time around did you? Got anything different planned. I'm gonna stick to pinning the hell out of them next time indoors. It worked once so WTH.

Hey Everyone...2 weeks old yesterday and she's looking pretty good to me :) Growing fast now...I just added (1) 68w 2700k, (2) 42w 2700k and (2) 26w 6500k. I've had to move the lights up a few inches a couple of times this week....YAY! She doesn't look stretchy at all....just like her momma :) And her inner growth is coming along nicely :) I'm pretty sure her mom had that single leaf ting going on too, but the other little blades grew in later on so she didn't stay like that the entire time.
Shorty sure did like the Seaweed I gave her a few days ago. Keeping my soil a little wetter than last time...not letting her dry out as often. I think I'm going to start giving her fish/seaweed next week, then staright fish...see how she likes that. I'm kinda just making my own feeding schedule, trying to practice reading my leaves a little better.
Haven't needed the fans at all....YAY!! I've got the lights on at 9p-9a and it's about 74-80 all the time. Gonna start getting pretty chilly soon though, gotta get a new timer for my heater so I can have that kick on when I know I need it. I'm really good at knowing the temp and airflow in my closet now :) Just gotta get the whole leaf reading thing down...lol

Anywho....here she is :)

Catt she is beautiful, and the fact you can tell what she likes you are already at a advantage, reading your leaves come with time and knowing your plant gives you a whole nother respect for other plants I find myself looking at trees, shrubs, and plants in general to see how they act during their own flowering stages, and how they stretch, or ways to train your own bush.... Also trees sometimes look like huge buds that god smokes...

I bet you would like to see some pictures! I've been trying to read mine but I have like 5 dif strains in my box and they all act different. I know that my WW X Afghan Kush is immune to any and all forms of stress! Seriously. She is always happy...
Oh yes that act different and they feed different, so be careful with food all your minions may not like cheese on their burger my friend and the plant that is happy I will say has to do with the ww mainly its a very resistive plant and a bonus with the ak because it is also a strong strain due to its origin. I tell you what the og kush I grew I gave it hell and it came through with flying colors but I will neve grow it again because of the natural terrible yeild, but still it hella strong in potency and genetics.

She is lookin mighty healthy. If you weren't doing a 12/12 with her she might make a good choice to try that Main-Lining.
Why thank you Tx ;) She totally would be perfect for that too...she's just a little fun grow tohelp me pass the time till I can get my next big grow on ;) It's so interesting doing a 12/12 compared to the norm. Slow at first, but then.....HOLY SMOKES she's grown like 3" in 2 days!!!

I guess my curiosity got the best of me with Shorty...lol. She was a spur of the moment thing due to getting her bean from my farmer gal. I know that the summer is not quite over yet and if I had more than 1 in there....things would get a little hot. I tried though....started with 3 beans and only Shorty sprouted so I said - WTH, more love for just her :) Plus I've been way too busy lately to really devote all my attention to a full closet garden, but felt the need for a little somethin.

Shorty is just what I need right now! Not too needy....VERY independent and obedient - HA!!!

I hear what you guys are saying....first time around Rotted I topped and fimmed. I'm thinking this time around a little LST with some toppping, not sure yet. I'll most likely figure that out when I get the beans sprouted.....KISS!!!

Catt's Christmas List:

1. Deer Cam ;)

that is a GIANT fox...or is it a coyote? Chickens beware...lol!

Reading your post just sent me into a 10 min daydream of laying in a pine knoll on a soft blanket.... in a warm sunny patch staring up at the pinetrees, but instead of pinecones there are giant buds covering the tippidy top, blowing in the summer breeze ;)

Yea I'm ready for the paranoia to go away with this stuff. I fret over everything. I think I have a leaf eating bug in my grow room. Not all of my leaves but some have holes in them. I just can't find the bastard anywhere and he doesn't eat a lot. so... IDK what to do. When I find him I'm going to heat up a needle and shuv it up through it's ass and out his head. Fuck that bug!

Nah. But I would assume that he is just kickin it on a leaf. I'll find him one day. Once they bounce back from the transplant and all the bondage that I've done I'm going to hit them with some preventive Neem oil.

13 days til harvest yaaaayyyyyyy.... 8 weeks veg 10 weeks flower, and still have a month and a half of dry/cure, thats why I'm going to add a second cab for either veg or flower I haven't decided yet but it will be soon, I'm ready for a perpetual so I can harvest every month to two months.

Catt I was reading in HighTimes today about root structure and using a shallow, but wide container...sounds like an ex-wife, but I digress. The roots would grow wider and if topped and LST'd would be a short wide bush...hanging curve ball. Any experience with growing that way in a wide container? It's suppose to greatly increase the yield.

Hmmm....I've really only used 2.5 gal pots and now with this little 1/2 litre. I have seen a few grows on here using those wide pots. Looks like little bonsai...lol! Stays reeela short, looks good for 12/12 though. I may have to try that ;)

Hey Peeps! Couldn't help but share some more pics cuz Shorty seems like she's exloding!!! She will be 3 weeks old from sprout on Sunday :)

Gonna give her some fish/seaweed next watering!

Do you guys think I should wrap something around the pot? It's kinda a clearish green color and I'm not sure if I'm at risk of root rot.

The put your using is fine due to you using cfls not strong enough to penetrate through that type of pot, and shorty is looking green :)
