Cfl Proximity To Foliage

Can i see pic's of your setup?

ill post one tomorrow night... the babies are asleep

Will it not burn the plant at all having the CFL's that close to the foliage?

my plants get to an inch from the lights and dont burn... they will burn if they touch directly

What wattage are your lights and how many do you have around your plants?

i use 8 cfls, 2 per plant

i need to get some sockets to setup around the plants to hit light in hard to reach areas

veg with warms and cools mixed
flower with just warms

26 and 150 Watt Compact Fluorescent 2700K Warm White CFL are great for flowering IMO

quick question (sorry if answer is easy to find) - using ScrOG method, would it be beneficial to start with lights at a greater height from the plant, to make it stretch out and quickly reach the screen, instead of wasting energy and time on lateral branches and growth that will be trimmed anyway? Space between the nodes wouldn't matter until the screen.
right?

I found them at walmart for $6 in the hardware section.

I haven't done Scrog before but you might want to check out Wolfman Zen's Scrog grow if you already haven't. Here is the link.

you can go to wal mart to the camping section and get the emergency blanket...they are folded smaller than a pack of cigs...you can also paint the walls,ceiling and floor flat white to help reflect light...if you paint dont use high gloss or semi gloss

yeah checked out the filter, got my supplies yesterday. But fuck me, forgot the pantyhose.... unfortunately i don't have any laying around.

i have 2 125watt cfl enviros in a homemade reflector hood with an exhaust. i found that although they do not get to hot to touch they do produce alot of heat that builds up, if your in a small grow area, without some decent ventilation so i put a fan on the top of the reflector hood to pull out unwanted heat. pics are in my journal.

i have a fairly small penis, will this yeild less bud during the flowering stage?
