Cloneing

Hey Guys i have a couple questions and dont know if u can help. I am making a bubble cloner, when is it best to cut clones?? do i dip in cloneing gel before putting in bubbler?? do clones go down into water or stay above???
any help would be appreciated.....

I take my clones from the 3rd or 4th node and yes you dip them in your cloning solution before putting them in the cloner.
The stem should be above the water.
I take my clones when the lights are on. That way i can see what I'm doing.
