Cloning

Everywhere I have read says to take clones off the lower branches of the mother because 1. increased carbohydrate level and 2. more hormones for promoting root growth.

However, my friend says he read that it is better to take clones off the upper branches

So, which is better?
What do you do?

Lower branches are easier to root. That is a fact. Upper branches might be called better because they are nicely shaped. Don't even worry. Marijuana is so easy to clone you wont have a prob. Just cut off whatever you want and it will grow back

i've taken about 6 clones before but i've never payed any attention to where i cut them from but they all sprouted roots

Exactly. Even if you only get 50 % survival. which is very easy. You can get as many as you will ever need off of one bushy plant. A 2 foot bush can hav maybe 100 clones available on it. Good luck man
