Clu 048 recommended spacing

whats the recommended spacing for 1212s

Wondering since they are a little smaller they should be a little closer? Or is 12 inches still recommended

depends how hard you run them

30-40 W/SF is best

it a 10sq ft grow cabinet

5 clu 048 1212 3000k on a 185-1050
plus 4 3590s 3500K on a 185-1400


two parallel lines. The 3590 are 12 inch apart. This will be flower room

get to the 10 sq ft with a 26in X 58 in space

& one more Q: Is 14gauge wire too thick?

too thick for most holders. fine to solder with. 18ga soild is adequate and easier to work with

are you dimming them?,, or running wide open

You have thecob's are covering 2x2 area creating 50w/sf. the CLU's need to cover the 3x3 area if you have 5 CL:U's they need to be spaced 18" apart with the fifth in the middle moving them out another 9" so say 24" apart in a cross formation with the fifth in the middle should give you coverage of the 3x3 area and the 4cxb can cover the 2x2 area.

@Tim Fox they are dimmable. Both setups. If you can give input on how they should be dimmed for be efficiency I will take it.

First time grower. Having fun with it. Learning.

Basically it's a 2ftx5ft space for flower.
