CO2 Burner Experiences?

I am planning on putting a 4x8 short tent in my basement (short because I have , >72in clearance). I would like to do more work with CO2 and I was leaning towards a burner because the room is already has a natural gas line in it. My concern is that both Titan and Autopilot burners ask for 20" stand off from all surfaces. Which would reduce my growing area more than I would like. I am interested to know if that 20" stand off is really that important or if it will melt the tent if I push it?

I'd go with a 20# tank, regulator and controller.. I run that rig in a 8x8 sealed room and each tank lasts me around 2 months or more, keeping co2 @ 1200ppm..

I know that really doesn't answer your question... but a tank would take up less space, could potentially even be located outside of the room, depending on your controller and be much safer as well.

I have 2 tanks, so I can swap quick when it runs out, always have a refill on deck.. they cost about 10-15 bux in my area for a refill / exchange..

That's what I am probably going to have to do. It just kills me because the natural gas line has an outlet right on the wall. It is more of a want than need.

your room looks very small, is that in foot or meters ?
and what is the cubic meter volume of the room ?
from experience burners are more diffucult to operate in small rooms

if you use a electric ignition model (i dont like it personnaly), it will cycle often.

if you use a pilot flame model (easier and more reliable) after transplant and until the plants get bigger, you will probably need to vent the space
or co2 levels will excede 2000ppm

The grow area has a foot print of 32 sq. ft. and a volume of ~192 cubic feet.

you better use bottle co2 in this space, if you seal well a bottle will last long
