scroggsy- i would give it a shot with little nutes and see if you can up it slowly with out burning the plants. salt build up shouldnt be much of an issue if your root system is mature and your plants are using all the stuff your adding to the resevoir. you wont over water a mature plant. i would say having the drippers come on a couple times a day will be fine. how much you looking at dripping each watering?

Cool Thanks. Dont know about how much to irrigate or when. At the moment I hand water the 10l pots putting about 3-4 litres through each one which gives plenty of runoff, so If I watered 2 litres twice per day is that what you mean?

Keeping an eye on runoff ec in order to adjust input feed to suit.

Also for next round ive got a scrog net made up and have LST'd the plants in preparation for scrogging.

All of my pics are right before lights out and they are sleepy. Also, it just so happens that I tend to take pics right before watering and they are pretty dry.

the scrog sounds good buddy! that was exactly what i meant about how much youll be irrigating each feeding. if your using the same pots it may be a good amount for the couple times the drippers turn on. though seems like you might need a a large resevoir for that much water.

i would suggest not letting the coco to get dry and always keep it moist. the more time they spend drying out the worst they will do, keep them wet and theyll be much happier.

it wont stress the plants at all IMO. the clones are going to have to reveg so be prepared for a longer clone time and some funky growth when they start putting out new growth.

Flush for a little over a week. looked at the buds with a mic and there is allot of mushrooming heads but still all clear. Waiting until i see a few amber before i start flushing. Does that seem correct?

Those are far from done my friend. Don't even consider flushing at this point. The buds haven't even really started to fill in unless you are using low low lighting I think these have a while to go yet. I would say atleast 5 weeks if not more. Once the buds fill in and you start to see red pistols forming on all of the buds then you can start checking the tricomes and worrying about when to flush.

I will be honest that I have doubted coco. I know now that the majority of my problems came from overwatering when the roots were very small and they were in big pots. The top half of the pot would be bone dry and the bottom would still be soaked. Now that the root systems are massive, I find coco extremely forgiving and my ladies are loving it. Switching to flower in a week or two and hoping for a pound

I've been flushing one earth og clone in coco for the past 4 days now with final phase. Day 73 of flower and I don't think she is quite ready to chop. But losing pretty much 1/4 of my harvest to powdery mildew. This one is showing small sites of infection since first day of flushing. How long can I continue to flush to let the buds ripen? 7days? I chopped my other 5 plants after 5 days of flushing. Can I go as far as 10 days of just pure RO water and final phase?

Sampson,
Looks like we are at the same stage. What types of nutes are you using? I am on all Canna and the shit is expensive. Anyone got any info on cheaper nutes or are Canna products worth it? I have seen the same seeds I started with grown indoors in FF under T5s. The plants look good but I think the yeild was lower. I will see in a few weeks if the Canna paid off. I would like to compare yeilds with you when your done to see if I can save some money. I am using 1000 watt HPS and they are 3 1/2 weeks into flower. I posted some pics a page or two back.

Yeah ive got a 120l water butt up there. Should be good for 5 to 7 days maybe:hump: It's linked up to a Topspin dripper manifold im well impressed with the quality of this kit.

Looking forward to a more automated system  Scroggsy

I'm a first time grower. I have a 1000 watt set up and am planning to use B'cuzz Coco Substraat, with clay balls. I have a few questions. Should I start the seeds in peat cups and if so what size cups? When I fill the peat cups how tight do I pack the coco in? And then how deep do I plant the seeds.

Hobbit,
im using all canna nutes. I'm at 10ml of A and B per gallon and using the PK at 4Ml/gal with calmag plus. Im also using tap water. The tap without nutes is at 130ppms. My solution is at 1000ppms
