Colorado growin

Hello!

Welcome to my first journal! I encourage people to post here, maybe someone could start by telling me how to rotate my picture lol.
I got these clones off of a friend of mine almost a week ago now, two hurricane and two Citrix, I have no idea who is who. They are in a 5x4x6 home made box with a 600w hps air cooled with a hydra farm 6" inline fan. For this grow I'm going to try and only use one fan to exhaust the room and the light. Eventually I think I'll have one fan blowing air through the light an another one exhausting the room.
The girls are in "royal gold " basement soil. I was originally going to buy ff ocean Forrest/happy frog, but the guy at the grow store down the street recommended this and at $10 a bag for an all organic soil it's hard to beat!
Im going to be running technaflora nutes( the festival freebies :) )
i will take better pictures of the babies soon! Some of them look like they're trying to start flowering already. I talked to my buddy and he said that he had them under a 12/12 light for maybe 2-3 days. Anyway, once I te some ore pics up I'll see what you guys think!

That is a fatty my man!! Is that yours?

i didn't really go out today lol, I was pretty done from last night all day today lol.
Have you been to any of the rec shops? I anticipate a rise in med cards with the prices I've heard.

Good luck, first grow? They look a tad over-watered in your picture. I say that because of the arced leaf structure which often indicates over-watering. Let em dry out a bit between waterings and you should see leaf structure flatten out more. Sorry if you already know this, a little high tonight celebrating. Not sure if A64 will work for the best but as a fellow home grower, we seem to be the only clear cut winners in all of this. Still, seems like step in right direction to me having grown illegally for so many years.

This is my second soil grow actually! The first one turned out alright for the conditions I had them in for sure, but this time around I have a little better environment for them.
I just watered tonight, I waited until I saw them droop a tad before I hit them with more water. I think the soil I have them in is just a little too hot for them! Some of those leaves are warped from the little nute burn! That and they looked pretty rough when I got them.
no worries brother, I will take no offense to any advice thrown my way! I'm with ya, I feel like it's definitely a step in the right direction, we'll see how it plays out this year!

image.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgSome closer shots of the plants. One has two main colas already. I just watered them again, this round I'll make extra sure that they are really dry before I hit them with more water bugeye :) I wish I had pics of these guys last week, they were sickly at best!

Cool, they look great in latest pics. Not saying you for sure overwatered them. The leaf structure can also change at lights out and droop a little even when not over or under watered. Keep up the good work!

Thanks for the help bugeye! I definitely appreciate any feedback/ suggestions! They definitely look a little curled to me too. I don't have a ph meter and haven't been testing my tap water. ( I've been just letting it set out a few days ) so I think that could be the start of a ph problem as well! I'm going to try as pick one up in et next week or so and I might try to borrow a friends meter until then, just to make sure!

Looking good!, lucky you and your state legalizing weed, so so great.
I saw a receipt from Denver posted yesterday with $76 in sales tax on the 4 qtrs they purchased. Came out to $440 an ounce. My guess is that red card applications will skyrocket to bypass the high tax on retail purchases. Tourists will not be so lucky.

I use the batch 64 as well!

Yeah the tax is crazy high! A friend of a friend told me they were trying lower the cost to get your med cards pretty soon.
i definitely don't see Colorado residents paying that much.. Especially when everyone is use to the medical prices.

That huge top isn't mine, but I was holding it for the picture. I help out w/ trimming for a couple friends. It's A LOT of work, but I get a lot of free smoke.
I have not been to any rec shops yet. From what I can tell it's expensive!

I always thought offset branches meant that it was ready to flower, but there is a high likelihood that i am wrong. mine is either kushberry X skunk or kandykush X skunk, more sativa i believe. its one 400W HPS sitting about 10 inches from main cola. growth exploded when i flowered. December 5th it was 12 inches tall and now its 45. im excited to watch your 600 Watt grow
