Straight duct the 3 hoods, or separate intakes and connect the exhaust?

First time posting, how's it growing everybody?
So I'm' about to start construction on a 10ft high, 7ftx18ft room. It's in the back of my uninsulated garage. I've got 3 hydrofarm raptor hoods 8". What's the best way to cool these, without letting the neighbors know what's going on? Quiet is key, rather than go thru an exterior wall considering drawing air from my garage and exhaust out the roof vent, thoughts? Do I duct the hoods straight, or is it quieter to intake air from each hood seperate and connect to a bigger exhaust?

is the room enclosed? are they closed hoods or open?
if so get a spare door you can drill holes into and do a closed loop system with hoods that are made for cooling. im doing that and just venting in and out into the house it also keeps the co2 high

Get your ventilation down first and enjoy an easier time growing. Key to indoor growing along with lighting.
would you say two venting systems is better than one? im going to have one for hoods and one for room ventings with scrubber. the vents will have no pressure so im pretty sure they wont have smell if its close loop. thru the door then the hoods then out the door. then one vent system with a carbon scrubber in the room one exhaust and one intake with prefilter probaly pantyhose

Definitely 2 separate systems. Most definitely. If hood ventilation is brought from outside it does not need filtering unless you have a leaky duct system. Your room or tent air definitely needs to be filtered if odor is a concern. With that many lights obviously a lot of bud. Dual filters. Filter the filtered air. Count on replacing primary filter 2-3 times before recharging or replacing the secondary filter.

Depends on how important it is for the neighbors to not smell. Or cops. Personally I would and have. 6" booster fan into a can and then another booster fan and a second can. All in one line. Probably overkill but Gladys never called the cops.
i live in cali and im venting throught the house not the outside

Think that’s where I’m leaning towards I have a 12x5x5, I have ac line in blowing with 2 pc fans in the lower middle of the room. With 3 pc fans to 4” duct adapter as exhaust. So I’m thinking of putting 1 6” scrubber on the left side and another on the right. Still thinking on how I’m going to exhaust my 2 hoods when they go up

Your going to need a damn site more than a few PC fans. They wont be of any use with a carbon filter.

So what cfms you talking? I have them stacked and actually pulling pretty strong right now
They just dont have the power to overcome the resistance of a carbon filter and maintain pressure in the duct.

I may of missunderstood what you plan on using the PC fans for though.

I can help, but it isn't going to be a cheap fix. You have a few options, budget will decide.

So, can you post pics of your garage? Or send them in a message. I'd like to see more of what you have to work with. Inside, outside, up, down, around, everything. Many pictures of 'nothing' are better than a few closeups.

Big Perm lmao classic name! “Big Worm Big Perm Big I don’t give a damn!”
What do you recommend on fan strength to exhaust a 12x5x5 through a carbon filter? Somebody gave me a formula of 1cfm for each sq ft?
