Straight duct the 3 hoods, or separate intakes and connect the exhaust?

would you say two venting systems is better than one? im going to have one for hoods and one for room ventings with scrubber. the vents will have no pressure so im pretty sure they wont have smell if its close loop. thru the door then the hoods then out the door. then one vent system with a carbon scrubber in the room one exhaust and one intake with prefilter probaly pantyhose
Yes, venting hps gives you much more room control.
That plan sounds good to me. When you say closed loop on the lights, where is this exhaust going?

Big Perm lmao classic name! “Big Worm Big Perm Big I don’t give a damn!”
What do you recommend on fan strength to exhaust a 12x5x5 through a carbon filter? Somebody gave me a formula of 1cfm for each sq ft?
That would be 60cfm, probably not going to cut it.
I'm not the one to ask, but I'll find the guy that is and link them here. @coreywebster
I usually go with overkill and dial it back if I have to, but I'm not going to blanket recommend it.

I stole this from his post on another thread:

intake from outside the hallway from the right, moved thru the lights then out to the left 2 feedt apart will be intake / outake but they will have vent ends pointing opposite ways

I'm still not 100% on where it's going, but if heat becomes an issue you can always switch it up.

also im having two fans on for air in and one for air out, should i make air in lower cfm than air out to make it equal pressure?
That would make it negative pressure, and that's not a bad thing. The fan in may be overkill, just going off this info.

FWIW I have a 400or so CFM fan in my 4x4, and that just about does it. Any less powerful and I’d have issues. Keep my HID at 800w. And the temps right around 80 for lights on
