So a kid with a screwed up life who is never given the tools to suceed now will be able to just suceed because they are an adult now?
What separates them from a kid with a screwed up life that becomes and adult and succeeds?

Is it the fault of the 1%ers that this kid was born into unfortunate circumstances?

College degree doesn't equal wealth though. Some people like doctors make extreme amounts of money but are broke.

I know I'll never make millions and I am okay with that. I'll be comfortable and not live above my means.

How do we help this kid without enabling the generational poverty cycle? The answer seems to vary from person to person and there doesn't seem to be a simple answer.
