Hey I see that you're usingsmart pots. I was thinking about acquiring a few, they're great right? About size, is 5 gal ideal for an auto such as candy cane? By the way, your candy cane crop looked delicious!
For autos you will be fine with a 3 gallon smart pot. Plenty of room for the root system. I will not use any other pot now that I have tried them. Highly recommend them! And thanks it is quite delicious!

Thanks for the info! What kind of smoke is the CC? What color where the trics when you harvested?

The phenos I had were a very sativa dominant eye. Nice long lasting euphoric high. I harvested in different stages but my favorite was the plant I let get about 60% amber. Had a much smoother sweet taste to the smoke than the ones I harvested earlier.

Thanks so much! I'm about to get mine going but kind of need it to remain somewhat stealthy sizewise... I think you mentioned having plants coming out more dwarf and other much bigger. Would LST be ok even though it's an auto?

Your welcome! I would not personally LST or top CC due to the plants very short life cycle. It will stress the plant and you will lose about a weeks growth while it recovers.
Although I have heard of people having good results from LST on autoflowers that have a longer life cycle than CC. You shouldn't have anything to worry about with them as far as stealth as even the larger phenos will stay relatively short.

Thanks a lot for the info! I'll just hope that my plants don't become too big or smelly for my nosy evil neighbour!

Haha, I am glad a I somewhat secluded and don't have to worry about one of those! The smell that the candy cane puts off is very citrus dominant so you won't have to worry about that. I think the Candy Cane will be perfect for your grow needs as it isn't very pungent so smell is really not a factor and the size is medium so you will be good to go in my opinion!

Nice to hear! I hope that I can achieve decent results in my growing conditions (in a pot on a balcony). I'll post updates of my grow here.

I have recently started 3 different types of auto-fem's from Crop King....".Early Miss, Revolver and Dwarf Low Flyer" (see "2014 Indoor Sunshine grow" link for pics)

So far they are doing good and I'm happy with their performance but a long ways to go

I gave my buddy a Revolver and an Early Miss seed...he started mid-April and one is already in flower....pic attached of his grow (BTW he doesn't know which is which)

I think I have a different phenotype growing because even though it's just working on its 4th and 5th sets of leaves, it's reeking already! Smells very skunky. It's been 3 weeks already since the seed broke ground, didn't grow very fast at first because of shitty temperature but seems to pick up the pace now. It says that this strain finishes in 7 weeks, but I think it'll take longer. There aren't any preflowers yet. For how long did yours flower?

Yay I spy preflowers as of this morning! So when they say the strain has a 7 week flowering time, does it mean that from sprout to rippen buds it takes 7 weeks or does it mean that flowering lasts 7 weeks?

Sorry I have been busy busy and have not been on. But to answer your question, yes, they do mean from the start of first sign of flower.

Thanks for the info! It's flowering now, but it's not as bushy as I'd like... This is my first auto and didn't want to interfere too much, but wonder if some light lst might work for my other CC seeds.
