So now batch #5 is 3 days in. Temp in dome 85 F, Humidity 85% and looking very good! Have a total of 6 White Widow, 3 Jack Herer, 2 Shaman, 2 Juicy Fruit, and 2 Blueberry Cross w/ Northern Lights. Starting to see how easily i could create a "good problem" and end up needing another box. Which i definitely have been contemplating stepping it up a notch and making a second veg area... HPS? MH? LED?.... Guess i'll sleep on it.... but not without packin the glass first!

cool setup. might want to cover up the transparent part of your aero cloner you built to block out the light getting to the roots.

Thank you Copycat. I definitely am gonna wrap the exposed top part of the reservoir to block the light... Just wanted to make sure that my minor leak problem was dealt with before that final touch.

Figured i'd give an update.... Everything is going swimmingly!:weed: The multi flavor batch i got ( seven diff. flavors ) has left to flower..... Which is probably why nobody follows my grow since i don't show my girls thru flower. I'll try to snag some pics when i'm there for ya all. The areo nursery is friggin nailing it. I am getting visible, healthy roots protruding through the cups in 9 days! Was hoping for visible signs in 10 to 14.... So very happy with this result. The clippings are also definitely alot healthier looking than any of my previous batches. I have a feeling that really the only equation i'm missing in this scenario is nute solution for my water.... I am only using distilled water at the moment... Nothing else. Any advise?

Well... Figured id show ya all the most recent harvest we took. I keep trying to get shots of where i am flowering but the pics look like crap.
Went to Vegas for the weekend and everything blew up! A batch of Shaharazad and White Widow in flower were ready, my girls veggin were all grown up into the lights, and had to move 6 girls to veg a little longer at other loc. to free up some space for the next round.

Top row in drying closet is The White Widow. So far it's the best smoke and yielding plant we have. The really red hair second level batch is what we believe to be the Shaharazad... Not 100% on that tho.. Awesome taste and killer buzz too.

nice haul!!! I think I need to copy your aero cloner but on a slightly smaller scale since my cab is smaller then what you got. Im tired of growing from seed and need to try something new.

Hehe, i know nothing other than cloning! Have yet to get my hands on any fresh beans to play with.
Obviously with cloning, the trick is having a dedicated mother to supply the snippings but i have also had success rooting tops i have lopped off vegging girls to keep the canopy as uniform as possible. You can definitely size down the cloner i have significantly. I built it the way i did for two specific reasons...
One, 20 spaces for snippings ( which i could have fit much more if i went to a smaller basket cup. ) and large cups. The large cups allow me to stay with my original way of doing it, with rockwool cubes. I like the way the cube keeps the snipping secure and upright. I have altered that to suit what i felt was the best scenario for areoponics. I am now using Rapid Rooter cubes. The clay rocks keep the cube upright in the cup and allow for even distribution of protruding roots to search for water as u can see in previous posted pics. Some ppl just use a neoprene top in their cup and hang the clipping stem into the cup. I like my way cauz we grow in dirt and makes transplanting a snap!

do you use any rooting/cloning gel or powder on your cuttings? or do you just start spraying them?

Yes, most definitely use cloning gel... Started with the powder and had decent results. I'm using gel now. I like the even coat around the stem it creates and makes more sense that the gel is absorbed by the stem much better.

Those nugz look gorgeous bro!! nice and iced and I like your vegging station.. What kind of lighting will you be flowering with?

Also when you post you get noticed and you get repped up..
Takes time, however.. I have sent some your way.. so you're good to go.. just 94 more points and you'll have 2 blocks :P

Ty Black... Yeah, real good harvest this round.... Had some hiccups along the way.. Changed up the growing method a little bit at the flowering loc. and made many mods and upgrades. Wish i could show more from over there... Here's two shots of one of the smaller girls gettin sized up for her trim.... We flower with 2 1000 Hps there.... I use good ol' 48' Sunlight tube Fluros to veg. here....
