Mr miyagi..... More like doctor green thumb.
Lol yeah Dr.Greenthumb... I’ve learned a lot on here the past year I’ve been on this site a lot from trial and error ... Like using coco loco with Happy Frog never again caused a bid cal/mag deficiency.. But I am giving them some now just hoping to finish them off

Lol that’s funny age brings knowledge and experience bro I wish I had more so I can have beautiful plants growing
You have plenty of knowledge right now. Just make sure you use it. It's easy to stray.

The "Bright images flashing by like windshields towards a fly" line come's from a Rush song I was listening to a year before you were born. I was growing plants a few years before that. We had secret grows in the vacant areas where we lived. Of course the plants usually died or we got hardly anything but it was a time in my life I'll cherish forever.
Happy growing!

Maybe someday someone can explain the how, why's and when's of defoliation. The standard answer is "you have to know when and how much to do, it's different for different strains"
A side by side would end this debate
I sure hope you meant that as sarcasm....
You're not impressed? FYI those plants must've yielded grams :bigjoint:

They look nice bro, are you going to trim off some leaves for light penetration.afterall this is why this post is open.
The large 1 in the first pic... What is she and she look uniform with bigggg colas.
The one in he front of he tent with HPS light on??? It’s northern lights there ain’t any leaves to really take off... now the bottom pic is a blue mammoth from barneys and Gorilla Glue from Fast buds ... No I will not defoliate her I have tried it already on my first grow I didn’t like my end result ... IMO they stop growing I did have dense buds but I don’t think that it was because of defoliation More for the light and nutes and training.. And another reason is that I have coco loco mixed with Happy frog soil with 16Qt of perlite and they are struggling with cal/mag deficiency right now I’m giving them flowering cal/mag (Mendocino) no nitrogen in it to get them back in order

Northern lights has a low leaf to bud ratio so you won't have a massive bush from that strain.
The blue mammouth looks nice I have a seed of this and I can't wait to get her on the grow.
Every blue mam mouth I've seen have done well. YouTube-Ashley lush-blue mam mouth.
Check this out, if you haven't already seen it?
You say ur results where not as good with defoliation, yet I tried and mine were better.
Weird isn't it...
Each to there own eh ?
I'm posting pics later to show peeps on here that growth still happens with buds when defoliating.
It's been 5-6 days since I done the first trim and there is a big difference.
I'm just going to drag her out of room and take a quality picture with no blurple lol
