Get 0 larf airy bs buds everything dense and fat and ready to go all the way down the stalks because every gets direct light plus less issues of bod rot, pm or any other fungi due to better air flow and no dark spaces
So has this...and ur telling me its going to be a bad smoke cause its grown in the sun? https://www.google.com.au/search?q=pic+of+a+15+pound+plant&rlz=1C1ASUT_enAU412AU434&espv=2&biw=1366&bih=667&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwjpyo3Kn6HOAhUDH5QKHaf2AzkQ_AUIBigB#tbm=isch&q=pic+of+mullumbimby+madness+plant&imgrc=_

What are you 16?

I lived thru the "its Hydro man.." 80s-90s. Its all bullchit. Great smoke is great smoke regardless of lights or sun.

That is the truth, here is that same plant. All the larf on the whole plant is in the wooden spoon.

The first picture I posted was after I stripped off the bigger leaves, this is how she looked in the tent, before I stripped her down. All pics I posted in this thread were of chop yesterday.

I didn't think that's what he meant. I agree indoor and outdoor can produce great results, not arguing that. I am not trying to win this debate, just posting my personal experiences, since it is harvest time for me I thought it would be a good chance to weigh in.

No it'll be lesser smoke from being exposed to the elements your gonna tell me the elements can't deteriorate bud or are you that niave

Let me guess those guys that wrote 3 a light off of defoliation techniques specifically just pulled it out their ass with no prior experience and testing on it. Ive seen testing on thousands of plants I've grown tens of thousands of plants what your number at?

just tie the high branches down if you can, very carefully and gently to not break or damage the branches, then lower your light. the leaves will turn up towards the light in time again but this way you will not have to remove any and the lower buds will now be exposed.

Yeah, in like one day they will turn up to the light again. Is anyone actively paying attention to how these plants respond? I wonder sometimes, honestly. Techniques like espaliér, ScrOG, SOG, and so forth would not exist if plants didn't respond to training. What constitutes defoliation is a semantic and subjective determination made by individuals, but some training and pruning work wonders compared to natural growth, can we agree on that?

iv removed almost every single fan in flower. plant looks like shit but the buds are still decent size and very dense. however i do all kinds of tests and stuff because i 1 like to experiment and push limits, and 2, i can just trash it and start over since i dont really even use the stuff.

Jerk off and take a nap, that's my suggestion. You need it. Do your harvest or not, but I don't want to smoke that shit.

those things are fine, those burnt up leaves, those are going to get trimmed off anyway dont worry about those guys. these things are pretty frosty. some water cure treatments and they will come out smooth.

i removed ALL of them ! only ones left are the tiny ones that have managed to exit the bud its self. these are not crazy coke can sized guys, but very few of the popcorn that would have normally stayed small have really started to fill out. i noticed a large difference. in the popcorn more than anything else. due most likely to light, however non the less, the plant didnt seem to be that affected. the test would be to let another one go with out removing anything at all and compare the weight of the end buds. should two plants be grown in the same dwc tote.

There is nothing in science that links defoliation to larger yield... wow, you guys. ....wow
Believe what you want how many plants you grown? And it's not the defoliation that causes better growth it's the light getting to every part of the plant
