Defoliation question

Your gonna tell me better light penetration and better airflow isn't gonna cause better growth? Put rooms of 180 plants together and not defoliate and tell me how that works for ya remember gotta walk and feed gotta spray constantly cause can't use real fungicides and pesticides, have to brace or stake plants as well it's that simple it's better in every way and the yield shows it.

Believe what you want how many plants you grown? And it's not the defoliation that causes better growth it's the light getting to every part of the plant
Please elaborate and explain where allowing light to "everywhere", by the defoliation technique, will help in large yield, using basic plant biology?

Give me just one technical reference, base on current botany.

Your gonna sit here and act like shaded buds grow as big and dense as one directly in the light I just want to get that straight?

The explanation is as follows:

The defoliation, if done correctly (as I have described in this thread) acts like topping plants does for side branch growth; ultimately more colas.

The plant thinks it is being eaten. If the cola leaves are trimmed, the plant reacts with hormones which stimulate growth near the buds... this makes the buds grow more before they ultimately ripen.

We aren't talking outdoors but if you want I can post multiple sites dedicated to it I mean even the book 3 a light for indoor growing is based on defoliation techniques along with a shit ton of sites say the word I'll link em

I'll answer... even when you completely ignored my question.

Yes, top buds are normally bigger. It's irrelevant.

ThreeALight is junk science.

...I'm just going to assume you guys don't have references, then?

Not irrelevant because when lower buds are shaded they don't grow as effectively you think that only the top of the plant will grow better with direct light? Have you not seen people do side lighting and lighting from different angles to get light penetration thru the whole plant well instead of adding more lights I defoliate and allow the light to penetrate to those dark spots allowing faster and better growth from those previously shaded area. None of this is talking about outdoor growing indoor growing is where defoliation is effective.

Lmao so u have no actual growing experience with the plant and gonna tell me that after 10 years and over 10,000+ plants this year alone that field experience isn't as good as book smarts? You rather have a surgeon of 10 years whos done a thousand surgeries or one fresh out of college no experience but he's got his books with him.....who you gonna look to for surgery

I can say 0, and still have more knowledge based on real botanical science. I'm not measuring dick size here, just don't believe in teaching pseudoscience.
No point arguin with a young man. They are full of testosterone and are always right.Funny..some of us were growing before he was born and did do the defoliate thing..did being the word.

And what's your reference how.many plants you grown? Over 10,000? Cuz I'm well over it buddy
Tell you what; I'll believe you, credit you, and say 10 hailmarys, if you can answer honestly, a few questions of mine. What do you say?

Funny I've been growing plants in general since the 90's have a father who taught botany, horticulture, and biology. But your right I have no idea of shit cuz you say so lol funny tho I'm paid to teach people to grow what about you?
