Pendulums swing. It is what they do. Public attitudes and politics operate like a pendulum. It might be a bad idea to fight that.

It makes much more sense to have progressive goals and yet a large enough tent for local candidates to seek a strategy that is going to win. If they end up somewhere to the center of where you would like them to be - then show them the way. But win the fucking election first.

Of course you need to do this with 110% purity in order not to offend the more sensitive types.

If your story is that you are a wounded vet who was jobbed by the VA, you have my thanks for and respect for serving. The VA is guilty of many things including the way it discards it's wounded when they are no longer useful. I agree this is wrong.
