Has anyone dared to experiment with clones from cl? I wonder if it would be anymore than a gamble of using disp. genetics. By gamble, I mean growing wise: actually being said strain, bugs, pm, bad genes, poor over cloned mothers, etc etc. I have seen some cl ads that have been running for a while and seem to be legit (as far as anything can be on cl).

There is one particular lister who has close to a hundred different strains. Has a 2 week guarantee etc etc.

What do you guys think?

If not where else is a great place to get clones in the area?

I would love to try a cbd strain. I heard of r4 from Greenwerks but haven't found much except a post here on riu mentioning it.

Besides cbds, I am looking for jillybean, durban poison, chocoloupe, or any other local strains you can sell me on that do well in bubble buckets indoors.

I wouldnt get those.i dont trust the adds that sell large numbers of different strains. allways assume they have bugs are a little pm but if you know what you are doing thats a easy fix

i'm always very wary of anyplace claiming to carry 50+ strains. do you realize the ammount of space that many clone mothers takes up? then add on the clone trays. it takes a LOT of space, unless they are using something like a BCNorthern Lights MotherShip .... and @ $6500/each, i don't know of many places that would make the investment. each mother needs a min of 1gal pots @ 1' tall (should be more if they are doing 'volume')/1' wide for 6-10 clones every 2 weeks.

PM'd you the info of a company that has a real farm in Firestone but does deliveries as far as West Slope. They have some good stuff, including BG C99, and about 40 strains total for $10-$25 a cut. I'd post the list here, but don't want to break any rules that I may unaware of.

i'd be more worried about bugs then anything

If you see a cut of something you want I would say its got a good chance of being legit, there are not to many people selling that interesting of clones anyway

Hi. I really dont want to be thought of as telling anyone what to do but would simply ask to please not trust an ad based on length of run time. I know of one particular ad thats been running in gun mags for 20+ yrs. Its placed by the ATF and is still being used to bust unsuspecting takers. Go with yer gut. Do a little investigating and always beware. Good luck.

Haha, 100+ strains :) whoever carries more than fifteen is full of shit., and that ATF thing is pretty scary too huh?

I would think there are safer and more reputable places to get clones or seeds to start. You also asked about craigs list but your link goes to back page...now i know they are basically the same but just saying. Be safe my friend.

It does seem a bi t fishy that they would have a link on their cl add. I think I may try clones from the farm that was mentioned earlier. I gave them a call and they could actually answer my questions. No uhh let me find outs or i dunnos. He had more info on one strain than disp's have on all their strains. Their love for the plant is obvious.

Did anyone who I sent the info get anything on her run today? I got Cinderella 99, Vancouver #8, 303 Purple Kush, Chocolate Chunk, Sativa Spirit, and White Widow; was supposed to be White Shark, but the order got mixed up. I will grow log these babies once I get them grown out a bit and cloned.

Does anyone have a list of well known Colorado clone-only hybrids? I'm sure there are hundreds that have been created but am mostly interested in the ones that have gained some sort of following. Pretty much just for curiosity's sake, and maybe bragging rights with out of state friends.

Golden Goat is the first on top of my head. and she is a sweetie :)
I've never had Golden Goat but have heard great things. I did run ISS for a while and really liked the taste, smell (like fruit potpourri) and high. I built tolerance to ISS really quickly so I dropped her from my rotation. I do have visions of ISS x Pandora's Box someday though...
