My dad grew some GGoat. We liked it smoking it. Said it yielded decently and the nugs were dense. Was also an easier one on the trimmer.

have a keeper pheno of plush berry (tga) and power kush (dinafem) that are all from seed. Both are excellent medical strains but Im looking to add something else. Any updates on a dispensary with good clones? Or possibly a fellow card holder who would like to trade or sell in the Denver area

Anybody that complains they got bugs in their garden because someone gave them a dirty clone or whatever, is just a fool with only himself to blame.

Any plant brought into an indoor garden should be assumed dirty, quarantined, and de-loused before being introduced into General Population.

This is just good practice. This advice is applicable to plants gotten from a trusted dispensary, a good buddy who grows across town, or some random you met online. (Lol, I know I'm reponding to an 11-month old post, but it still seems cogent to the discussion).

Realistically, the bigger pitfalls are not getting the advertised strain or gettting a substandard pheno. For these you just have to accept that it is a gamble, and you won't know until long after you bought it and invested way more time, effort, and money that initial $12 or whatever.

I agree with SmokingBull what I introduce into my garden is of my own doing. PPM program takes care of kuties and stuff, but getting the real genitics or a bad pheon is the real heartburn.
I did get a CL clone that hermied on me twice before I dumped it and that sucked.

Dude! Your killing me, the more u pm us, ask for info, try and get clones from the site, the more u look like a pig. No offence, its just not the right way to go about your buisiness. Go cl if your having such a hard time. Obviously no one here knows u or, quite frankly trust you. So my advice is go to a dispensary and get something from them, basically every club has clones, or if u cant get into one its because you don't have a red card and shouldnt be wasting our time since this IS a patient forum! Or your a fucking pig trying to bust someone in which case PISS OFF.

The farm, Rocky Mountain Plants, shut their doors for the last time in November. Taking all the above risks into consideration, you /can/ get good stuff on CL and it seems like at least for now, it's ok without a red card: [h=1]Marijuana-for-donation swaps test limits of Colorado law[/h]

Let me revise me earlier posit that it seemed ok; I am relaying personal experience and and may have been on the receiving end of extraordinary luck. After 64 passed, I saw no reason to renew my card; filling some open spaces in mine and my gf's counts with potentially legendary strains /legally/ sounded like win-win. At the time, the only stories of people getting busted were for medium to large scale operations, not average Joe. I saw this today Marijuana giveaway with pipes purchase illegal, says attorney general, police chief so I am responsibly revising my initial generalization. I have received rooted and unrooted cut "gifts" several times since that article was published and the ad is still running (last I checked). However, the article is about finished product, not genetics.

So even though I have been fortunate thus far in my CL adventures, equate my statements with the moron who plays Russian roulette claiming the gun has never gone off.

I will say it again, make friends, lots of friends, and the cuts will find you.
I remember having to look for clones, but by simply making some friends, who had friends, who of course had friends..... Now the clones find me, and i have a more reliable source, that i am sure i will be made aware of any potential issues, and no cash ever exchanges hands, just cuts, seeds and meds (less than an oz of course, cause then its legal).
CL is a good way to get bugs you have never heard of into your grow in my opinion, and i have certainly made some trades over cl myself, but long long ago, before the explosion of root aphids and russet mites, both of which can destroy an entire garden before you understand what you have.

I'm still around Trueno, as my room got more and more locked in, I found myself spending less time here I was reading the dramatic backstory on a cut I got the other day via CL and started catching up on my sub'd threads etc. I agree with both things you say: the first time I ever got bugs was from a purchased clone and I've carefully treated every incoming leaf, from friend or from vendor. And friends are great when you live in a metropolis but when you're on the West Slope and in the sticks on top of that, options are limited.

Edit: There doesn't seem to be any explicit verbage addressing clones and cuts in the law, so would the 1 ounce gift regulation apply to plants so that you could legally receive 6 clone easily but teenagers and full grown plants you may not be able to?

I've got friends over that way too man.
Summer is coming soon and i plan to spend a fair amount of time in the mountains this year, maybe we can meet up at some point.

For all the negative talk about the quality of CL cuts here is an alleged "original cut" DJ Short's Flo" grown very well by someone who obviously knows what they are doing that I drove out for. She is still in isolation for two more days, her clean looks didn't deceive me (phone cam sux, i know):
