Dinafem bad experience

Hey guys, I recently bought two 3 packs of xxl autos from Dinafem, I got Moby dick xxl and white widow xxl. So anyways, I get my seeds, germinate two of each, plant them, they sprout and all is good. Well after the first set of bladed leafs three of them stopped growing and have slowly been dying and having no growth at all. One of the white widows is kind of growing but very very slowly. I also planted two Grapefruit, a durban poison, and a GG#4 the same day and every one of those are growing at typical rate. I’ve got a tent, good lights, proper ventilation, they have been in an ideal environment, ph has been on point, and this is not my first grow. So given this information what do you guys think my chances are of getting replacements from Dinafem? I’ve been trying to get in touch with there customer service but haven’t had much success as they only replied to my emails for the first two days, got details on temp, RH and what not and then went ghost on me. If one of the seeds was bad and the rest were doing good then I wouldn’t be so skeptical, but when 3 out of 4 seeds I plant have issues i have issues, each pack of seeds was $51 so I expect better rates then 1 out of 4. I’ve also talked to a couple people who have experienced this exact same problem with there seeds. They’ve got a number of strains that I would love to grow but i don’t think I would ever purchase from them again unless they can rectify this for me.
Thank you in advance! I’m also new here so hello!

I haven't bought any Dinafem since they had Cloud9 back in the early 2000's, before they ever sold auto's.
Good Luck getting replacements, most seedbanks will only replace if the seeds arrive damaged.

On the website they have a 3 month guarantee so I’m hoping I fall into this category

What’s up bro. I don’t know where you’re from but if you’re stateside there’s no need to buy dinafem or any other breeder from overseas anymore. There’s tons of US breeders putting out heat.

There’s some Canadian banks that carry US breeders gear. Plus some US banks ship up there.
That’s true but with the corona virus I feel it would probably take a while longer to make it through customs since the mail system is probably backed up with medical supplies and what not. I’ve seen some photos of Dinafem xxl’s that kind of turned me on to them but given my experience so far I’m pretty damn turned off them

Go use

Therealcanadaseeds.com
rmhca.ca/shop

These two sites have the tons of great breeders.

PeakseedsBC, and hempdepot, and Gtaseedbank.com also have good choices.

The ones that are doing o.k appear to be in a different soil. The ones that ones that look sick are in a soil that is slightly reddish while the healthy ones appear in a dark brown soil. You sure it's not the PH?

The reddish soil is coco and every watering has been 5.8 and 6.0 so I don’t think it’s the ph

I’ve also read a number of reviews of people having very similar issues, and personally spoke to a couple people who have had Moby dick seeds from them stop growing at the first node

Sorry to hear that you're having bad experiences but I have had nothing but good experiences with Dinafem.
I’ve heard a lot of people say nothing but good things. I’m hoping they can help me resolve this so I can buy from them in the future. They’ve got a number of strains I would like to try, I’m thinking there may have been an issue in travel or something

Just curios, was a right about the 2 different soils? If so, it is odd that all the ones in the reddish soil appear off and all the ones in the dark soil seem o.k. Could be totally coincidental.

Yes the reddish soil is coco and the middle plant is promix. I really don’t think it’s anything of my doing, I’ve encountered runts, and slow growers but I’ve never had plants just stop growing and start to die

Too big of pots IMO, should still be in solo cups, easier to manage that way.
Maybe a little more patience also, really to small to say they are growing slow.
good luck

They’re autos so they’ve got to start in that size pots. And they’re over two weeks old.
Thank you

It would be a strange coincidence that only the ones in coco are the plants having problems...
Have you tested the runoff PH of the coco plants vs the promix plant?
Coco might also need to be fed more often than soil if it has no amendments.
