You have dragged the word specialised from another thread/subject, could be flattering :)

I am asking if folks have noticed height variation between the current Company offerings.

Anyone who has grown OG Kush from two different Companies under similar conditions?
Like Basic: 24 or 18/6 growth and 12/12 flower!

I am looking for that same info since I am currently running OG Kush from Royal Queen but planning on Dinafem's OG Kush on a future run. I can say that I ran Dinafem's Bubba Kush & it was an extremely vibrant phenotype with huge buds, great yield, cloned super easy & good smoke so I grabbed some Dinafem's beans for the OG Kush.

Yes, Dinafem Bubba Kush was my choice with the info to date.
From what I have read, some phenotype have lower yields but quality remains within the pre 98 bubba genetics.
There is only so much to read. Open to any opinion

I don’t like Dinafem. I don’t like how they label their genetics. Bubba Kush? Nah, Bubba Kush is a clone only. Best case scenario it’s an S1. Worst case, they just slap a popular name on something.

This is particularly problematic when people start chucking using these genetics, and then selling them as Bubba crosses. No. They’re not. This is part of why good seeds can be so expensive. It’s difficult to find anyone with trustworthy genetics today, so often you got to pay a premium.

For example, this sounds nothing like Bubba Kush. The actual cut is low yielding, and a pain in the ass to clone. Most Bubba crosses tend to be the same way. True headstash only type of weed. I’d be surprised if they used a legit Bubba cut.

You started another thread on the “best reg seeds for breeding” but are considering Dinafem? They’re essentially the Monsanto of cannabis seeds. If you want something close to a pure OG in seed form, that’s not the place to get it. Start with Karma. Or Seed Junky. If you want fems, Cannaventure has Ghost OG S1’s that have been throwing straight OG phenos.

I don't know enough about dinafem to speak to the monsanto allegation however I grew their stuff as I said, and it was really healthy man. most healthy of all breeders I have tried and I tried all the name brand eu stuff before I stopped buying in eu. their original amnesia was something i will get again one day even. now as you said it is not the place in general for og nor is an eu company, but the plants themselves seem nice.
that all said I have seen them go in a direction I don't like since I bought them years ago which is they now push autos galore, but again this is an eu phenomenae and not a negative to ppl over there, it is however a negative to me, and other than the original amnesia I would not buy again. of note tho delicious seeds also in spain also has decent gear. smells of the chart but flavor not always carrying thru on their stuff I tried. I do wish however they had the amnesia in regs so I could open pollinate em

Dinafem have straight up solid strains. I haven't gotten anything that left me gaping at how great it was, but I have never gotten anything not good from Dinafem either.

well over in the states everything tastes the same, the amnesia i had from them was refreshing. was not like a haze at all. the leaves were super dark yet very sativa and it smelled of urinal mints with a piny weird soapy tone, but what i like is the smoke lingered in an unmistakable funk flor hours

Got a question, since Im pretty new to the game. I got a 3 seed package and the three seeds were all in different sizes. Never had a thing like that. The biggest was almost twice the size of the smalest, the remaining one somewhere in the middle between those two extremes. I think there is something fishy here. Cannot say anything else to this day since I just germinated the big uncle. Had anyone a similar experience with Dina? Since I take the stuff as a medicine for my ailments, I wanted to try the high cbd bubba version. Found no reviews about that strain. So...any suggestions?

It doesn't mean anything at all. Some plants have really consistent seeds, some have different sizes, colors, shapes, etc. Pop em and grow em.

Dinafem get a solid 5/10 from me. I get better results from nirvana for less. I did have a nice sativa back in 2011 called 'Cloud#9' I kept it for a year before tossing it. Most of Dinafem gear is bred to be high yielding, but these are a company that was selling seeds with a promo for "second grade haze", lmao second grade seeds. You can't expect me to respect that. The seeds were crap. If you want of in seed form, go with karma.

Id say,

1 Royal Queen seeds- Blue Mystic(superior to nirvana's)
2 Nirvana -PPP, Papaya, Bubblelicious etc
3 Flying Dutchman seeds(not listed)- Pot of Gold, Pineapple Punch, The Pure

I wouldn't waste my money on Dinafem, Dutch Passion or Barney's Farm

I think the best comparison to make, would be to buy a pack of Nirvana's Sour Diesel, and a pack of RQS sour Diesel and grow them out and compare. They both say say sell the same stuff, I trust nirvana with sativas more than I do with their indica varieties personally. They once had a solid stable of quality sativas back in the day, recently they've discontinued a few of their old sativa strains, and appeared to have solidified around a fewer strains now, which might be a good thing as far as maintaining quality is concerned.
