Don't get me wrong here- I'm a big fan of what you're doing!
Frankly, forking out for some testing would really help sort out exactly how your boards are working vs others. Apples to apples and all that.
I know you're working to drive the cost down, so even if they aren't quite as good as Quantum Boards or whatever I would not look at it as any kind of a failure. I still think these could be ten cents a watt if you/we as a community keep working at it.

I have used a PAR meter. Sphere testing drives prices up for everyone. I have considered testing and spending the money but that changes the dynamics of co-op. I could send a board for testing but that is what you do when you start selling. I could get a sponsor tag and raise prices still lower than others and sell boards for $20 more but then that makes me just like the rest profit motivated.
When folks bought cobs they were not sphere tested folks just bought them based on what they could do. I believe Testing was brought along to encourage purchasing. ChilLED did sphere testing and offered to test all others because hey knew already the outcome. He still gets bashed. Testing is part of the inside track.
YT has plenty of tests with PAR for comparison for various lights. I posted a thread for various lights and got trashed there too.
I bought a PAR meter to show actuals. I still get trashed. I use these boards mounted 18 to 24 clear and have great success. That is the point.
Anyone can start a co-op pay the PayPal fees from members buy the boxes and shipping fillers go to the post office fill out paper work send emails and messages with tracking and coordinate with Shenzehn with money more fees more shipping tracking etc.

That is what I am doing four 200w boards in a 4x4 area better than my old 1000w hps no comparison and total cost 60x4 and 35x4 hs 57x4 drivers total $630 diy

Of course the cobs were sphere tested- by their manufacturers. How else do they bin them?
I understand the desire not to get wrapped up in the profit motive.
That isn't a reason to never get such testing done.

What about doing a doing a DIY Par map with the Quantum power meter?
The boards are doing the job I bought them for, growing plants and as I'm running them "soft" , 100 watts per board, I'd say that is more efficient than running them full blast at over 200 watts per board.
'The proof of the pudding will be in the eating' they say, so we'll see in around 8 weeks as to whether they do the job or not.
So far I'm happy with the results I see.

I've checked calender and these are now 12 days into flower.
The lights are 12 to 14 inches away from the canopy.
1 x Strawberry Banana 1 x Wappa and 2 different phenos of Sensi Star.
They're in bio bizz light mix with added perlite,vermiculite , sand and a handful of Royal Mix.
Lights on temps around 22 - 24oC
Lights off temps around 14 - 16oC
It's getting colder here so I'll have to sort out insulation soon.
Plants look ok to me.

Looking good. I will have to look into what sphere testing cost. I imagine it is not cheap or everyone would be doing it.
I find lab tests are fine for marketing but actual proof is the most important.
I use mine for both veg and bloom. Both 5000k/3500k and 5000k/3000k create similar results good veg and good bloom.
Those plants look nice and green. Lush and well fed. You have great growing skills. Lights air water are meaningless without the skills to use them correctly.

I googled ies testing and you have to call to get a quote. I imagine @Growmau5 would know since he works for ChilLED grow lights and they buy testing. I know it is not cheap but it is used for companies that want to make specific claims of lighting of their fixture.
I came to this light design after experimenting with flexible strips which I could replicate output and measure output with different spectrum before I committed to this board.

At 12 inches
Center. 1254ppfd
One foot l/r 487 ppfd
Two feet l/r 420
At 24 inches
Center 400ppfd
One foot l/r 360ppfd
Two feet l/r 289 ppfd
I hope this helps. In the long direction the ppfd is more consistent. In the short direction I measured one foot and two feet. The PAR numbers look good to me but that is me.
I measured both the 5000k/3500k and 5000k/3000k and not noticeably different

I've been busy all day chopping 2 Sensi Star plants flowered under the cxbs.
2 x Wappa can wait another week.
Is they 1254 ppt at 200 watts?

These measurements are at full power 200w. I have no b model 1050s not already in service. I have all my a models in service also.
For me the idea was to reuse my existing inventory 1050s and 1400s drivers. I had more 1050s.
BTW, I also buy my boards just like all other coop members no free ride for me.
The last coop I got one board all the others left for new homes.
I am ready for a couple of those 5000k/3000k boards myself.
DM me when you are ready for some of those as well. I am getting two more to compliment my other two 5000k/3500k boards.
