Second flower light is up, its 4000k. Flower room is bright as fuck. And i started dimming down the veg room again. The lights are up pretty high (height) as is, and the nodes are starting to really stack up on top of eachother. So i cut the power down a bit. But heres some fresh pics of the Currant Kush from this morning.

So i did the deed. Got the Currant Kush cut and hanging today. WET weight all trimmed, is 522.1 grams.

Filled in her spot in the flower room with the sour og (headband) cut. Shes been vegging for almost 8 weeks. That plant is already bigger in size than the Currant Kush was when i cut her and it hasnt even begun to actually start flowering. Super excited to see what that strain has to offer.

Pics:
1) Currant Kush drying and hanging in the dry box i made. It holds humidity where i want it for a controlled slow dry. Makes for better tasting buds imo.
2)flower room newest
3)sour og (headband) cut
4)amnesia auto about 6 weeks into its 10 week lifespan.
5)tangerine dream finishing up week 7 out of 10
6)midnight fire og at about week 4

Makes total sense. I prefer the higher wattage per cob and less cobs. I imagine it would lead to higher yield because of increased amount of light per given space (ppfd). I will upgrade to your setup as soon as I have the money to. For now, I might invest in the heatsinks, but put the cheapo ebay 100w cobs, $2.99 per fixture plus the $10 power supplies. They might be worth the try. The worst that can happen is I lose 50 dollars when the cobs fail after 3 days.. Obviously the efficiency is not the same as the citizens, but 100watts at 110 lms/watt isn't a terrible deal, or so it seems....
Hey did u ever end up getting those cobs? Hows your setup looking now?

The tangerine dream has about 2 weeks to go, if that. She's swelling real good. Wouldve been a hell of a strain had the Currant Kush not pollinated her. :cuss: but i created my own strain out of it so i guess its not all too bad. Pics coming tonight.

Been without a phone since i dropped and broke mine last week. Heres the latest and greatest pics of the Tangerine Dream. She may very well come down tonight..if not i may put her in the dark for a couple days then chop her. I didnt see much of a difference this last run with the currant kush going dark for 3 days before chop so idk if its worth it to keep doing..

Cut the Tangerine Dream last night. Looking like a 3-4 oz plant. Hardly any larf after dropping the lights down to ~6 inches above canopy. Much denser nuggets than the Currant. When its dry, I will update with the weight.
Just shy of 3 oz. But short veg = smaller yields obv. My bigger, longer vegged plants are going to tripple those yields.

But this sour og, god damn is she big and bushy! I got so many tops off her and with the leds being much closer ive actually noticed some bleaching happening to some just to the tops directly under the cobs. So i pulled them away from directly underneath and they love it. I should get about 5-7 ounces from her hopefully. She vegged for 2-2.5 months under the 4 cob light befire being switched 6 weeks ago. Now shes got maybe 2 weeks left according to breeder. No receding hairs yet, so might be pushing it at 2 weeks. Id say maybe 3 n half and shell be done.

Sour og (headband) from bout 2 weeks ago. Ive been away from them for a while since i got switched to 3rd shift at work. Ill take new ones tonight when they kick on. But she is yellowing a little prematurely. Itll be fine, as i should only have another 2 or 3 weeks left. But they are super frosty and very sour smelling. Doesnt look like very full density yet but that should start packing it on the next week. I just fed them, possibly for the last time, yesterday. When the trichs are a solid 60/40 amber, she will be chopped. From her indica dom genetics i want a heavy stone effect medicine.
