I have been watching some vegetables I am growing and have seen some growth using CXA3590 72v,3500K using a pair of Chinese drivers rated for 350mA Constant Current. I have been using two of these and will upgrade to three of these for my garden.
I decided to modify my existing CXA3590 36v, 5000K used with a Chinese 50W driver with parts around the shop. Working fine. But after observing and reviewing some posts by SupraSPL about low wattage use of 3590 COB's, I decided to revise my veg light. I used a Mean Well HLG-80H-C350A driver with 2-CXA3590, 36v, 5000K, 80cri and 2-CXB3590, 36v, 3500K, 80cri.
With the new driver I can dim the system from 350mA to 175mA creating a great veg and clone light. No fan necessary. I am running each pair on 5.88" X 18" heat sinks from heatsinksusa. No pic of the light because you have seen it before, just a new driver. peace
