Lets start off with..... bongsmilie

PICTURES! from 03-07-09
1.) BONZAI! DAY 6 Flower! she is getting big, and she got a little wind burned from growing up into the direct path of the fan which caused her to cup a little. I read it could be all sorts of things, heat stress, water, ph, etc. But I checked the easiest first he he. Glad it turned out to be it. She is already slowly starting to un-cup but a little damage has already been done.

2.) A far away shot of Chance! She is doing great getting over her nute burn. I'm going to convert her to hyrdo/DWC/bubbleponics so she should recover VERY fast. also a simple res change will be all I need for the last 10 days which I think is rapidly approaching, she is maturing VERY FAST.
3.) Here is a closer shot of chance and all those wispy little popcorn buds are starting to swell.

4.) Here is a shot of the top bud.
5.) I really liked the lighting and highlights of this one even though alot of it is shaded out. (camera flash)

6.) Same as above but HPS lighting. This is a picture of chances 2nd set of buds from the top, and this one is going nuts. I can visually tell it's bigger everyday.
7.) Bonzai's growth since I got the HPS light. You can see I stopped restraining her as cutting anything during the transition to flowering can apparently stress it and it can take 2 weeks to recover and your harvest could lack, so I'm not taking the chances.

8.) This is a Picture of both of them together. You can see the Damp-Rid in the background to help pull moisture out of the air to keep humidity in check.
9.)Close up of the damp rid. And Before I had said it was safe to eat. That's apparently false, Damp-Rid has something else in it also so it's not pure calcium chloride, so it is not safe to eat, in fact it's deadly.

10.)Picture of the door (Closed) Simple door, overdid it on the hinges so I never have to worry about it, especially it not squeaking if it's suppose to be secret he he.

11.) Shot of it Open with the Insulation showing, and you can see the plastic I put to keep the wind off the door, Don't want the pressure distorting or messing with the adhesive backing on the insulation which could cause sound/light/smell/and temp/humidity leaks.

I will Be taking more tomorrow, Also can anyone tell or guess how many weeks/days I have left on Chance. LOTS More hairs are turning daily. And I want to make sure I have time to give her nothing but water for the last 10 days. So any estimates would help please.

So because I will be moving in the upcoming months. I have decided to flower all my plants. 3-4 if you count the one that wont do crap, but I threw it in there anyways.
Get a harvest to hold me over till I move get re-setup and get my cycle going again. I will be starting from seed and maintaining on clones after that. Or I will rejuvenate a few clones off of these.

More Pics up by end of today!

(camera malfunction) fixed it tho but I will post them and new ones in the morning. :)

(camera malfunction) fixed it tho but I will post them and new ones in the morning. :)
So my internet made me a liar and the pole outide cracked and was leaning 13 degrees under the weight of the lines, our phone line was also "Snapped" like a stick when the pole leaned AWAY from the house. I called the phone Co. (from a cell) and they got it fixed. YAY!

So there will be MANY updates today that are going to be "back-filled" since I missed those days, I will date them correctly. I already have the pics lined up named and in separate folders for which day it was. Just going to take time to edit them (crop, filter out distortion, or blur). I never add or take anything from my photo's that are related to the plant, size, color, etc. I don't try to make myself look better at growing then I am, I'm new and it will come with time and exp. I just like my pics being clean for you guys.

1.) New Tub (Height, my thumb to pinky is just under 9 inches for reference.) that will hold and flower 2 plants. I'm only going to to do one for now to get "Chance" in it so that I can let her Unlock from the high nitrogen she's got in her MG soil BLAH!
Also Going to give pure water for 2 days then low does bloom food till she's done. The last 14 days will also be pure water if I knew when that was... Some help would be greatly appreciated.

2.) Tub Width wise.
3.) The back with the air hose and the electrical cord for the aquarium heater.
4.) Inside with 2 full length of the bottom bubble curtain wands, with a Aquarium Heater that will keep the water temp at (76-80.F).

5.) Close up of the "Plumbing" that rouge blob of caulk has been cleaned loo.
6.) Pic of the grow room. Shot from outside.
7.) Another shot of the grow room but the thing that made me put it up was that you can CLEARLY see purple color in the top bud.

8.) You can see "Phatty" in the background, she was a clone mom but I turned her into a Stressor plant. I chopped her, brought her back, froze her, brought her back, cut her in half, brought her back, starved her, burned, over nuted, and now drowning and shes just getting over the drowning, Oh I also learned LST, topping,FIM, Bending on her. She is a VERY resilient plant, kinda like the guy in the movie that gets tortured for like 20 years and never says shit, and is a typical bad ass and gives his captures hell. She REFUSES to die. My cat even pissed on her for 3 days Before I noticed and threw his ass outside. He can't get to it anymore though so he's welcome back inside :)

9.) My Temp is 70-75 and relative humidity is 52%. At night since adding the heater that is set to low 70 keeps it at least 70 in the morning and 65-70 at night which is perfect for extra crystal!!!
10.) Better shot of the RH.
11.) A shot through zoom and through a magnifying glass.(no idea what x the glass is and it's a cheap plastic one :P) Top bud of Chance, can anyone tell how long? I know you really can't see the trich's but. A Guess as to how many days of flowering would be great. (also if I take your advice and it proves to be wrong or not the best method I won't hold you accountable so don't be afraid to guess he he!)

12.) A much better pic of the same above.
Take in the account of the light/color form the HPS.
13.) Here is some from a lower branch I cut to give the top better growth. You can see even the bottom is covered in sugar. VERY STICKY STUFF. It was sadly (quick dried in the over at 150 for 12 min) and has sat out to dry on my desk for 1-2 days. I'm pretty sure all the pistils were NOT orange like they are in this pic.
14.) Anyone know what this is? It baffles the shit out of me. Since it's NOT the top of the canopy it's the OLD canopy top, that's now being slightly shaded. Which leads me to believe it's not heat or light, since whats above that by 3-5 inches is not showing it.
15.) Another. (Close)
16.) Another. (Close dff angle, diff leaf.)

And that's all folks.

Looks like you got it under control. Like I said in the PM, the only thing you need to work on is bringing the day temp up to around 85F which can happen with more lights, small heater (I like the type where the burner screws into the top of a small propane tank) or wait for warmer weather.

Ha ha! I got my hands on some bag seed. But not just any bag seed Mexican brown bag seed! LOL! Someone I know had them from like 10 years ago or some such and he kept them from a pretty good bag. I am keeping them well for now I may bud them later for fun. Just thought it was hillarious.
There also might be the next legend (Haze) staring at ya from the bottom of that bag! Treasure those seeds, as what they produce will be much more potent than what was in the bag and can easily beat the "designer genes" folks pay for. If there are alot, I'd freeze most of them. If just 20, put them in a 35 mm film case with a little rice and store them in the fridge.

Stay free,
UB

Ok so to start I harvested my abomination "chance" and got a measly 30g. Didn't take any pics I didn't feel it was worth remembering ha ha! but the other 2 are looking MIGHTY FINE! The smoke was dried correctly and is curing in a sealed glass jar, the smoke is a little fert tasteing but it knocks me out  good nappin weed. Very strong.

1.) Bonzai is day 19 as of this pic and day 20 as of today! This is a Closer Shot of the buds. (HPS on adds yellow)
2.) Bonzai again, the only one she has that has any resin on the leaves so far.

3.) Bonzai again just a little more natural light.
4.) Bonzai again. Same as above diff bud.
5.) Bonzai from the side, My personal Fav so far, I like the dark thick areas where the bud is not as wispy. (NO FLASH)

6.) Same as above (with Flash)
7.) Pic of "Princess" the best of my original clones, and the mother of bonzai. She is 12 days in the pic and 13 day flowering as of today they are just forming and are light and wispy but she has AMAZING COLOR in her leaves, she looks very vibrant I can't wait to see what she can do.

8.) And to end a pic of me exiting the grow room.

Would love to hear from you guys, tell me what you think of the shots! and feel free to share some of yours... (not alot tho, don't go all gypsybush on my thread he he).

So as promised here are pictures!
Bonzai-Flowering Day 21.
Princess-Flowering Day 14.

PICTURES!!!!!!
_____________________________
1.) a pic of the light just coming on! Good Morning!
2.) Shot of Bonzai under the HPS soaking it all in!
3.) One of Bonzai's tops and all that resin showed up overnight!
4.) Bonzai's main top also 1st to get resin but is now behind the one above. Still biggest popcorn so far.

5.) Shot of Bonzai's top canopy and you can clearly see a "ring" and in the middle I opened it up to give the lower canopy some light as there is a mass of buds down there.
Ok so I know pruning is bad, it shocks the plant and can actually give you a lesser yield, but I feel that removing the 3 fan leaves that I did (very strategically, I spent an hour standing over her deciding which 3 would give the most light to below.) Will give my 2nd canopy a yield that should be worth it.

6.) This is the center of the "ring" and the 2nd canopy you can see all the little popcorns that I hope can soak up a good amount of light (note that you cannot see how much light they are getting in this pic as I had to put the camera between the light and the target.)

7.) In this pic you can see how lit up the lower canopy is, it's like that all over what you saw in the previous, only the ones RIGHT under aka attached to the MAIN canopy tops are shaded.
The main reason I took this photo is the Top in the middle, The following pics will be me zooming in on the SAME stem, then out a lil and diff lighting. Enjoy.

8.) Closer
9.) Closer (just under main top)
10.) Lovely Side shot, this one makes me smile I also love the lighting.
11.) Same as 10. but with flash I like this one as well but because you can see all the little pistils. (well i guess i shouldn't say little he he.)

12.) Finally we get to Princess who is 7 days behind bonzai in flowering time. Here is a general shot from above. (not a whole lot of exitment on her yet.)
13.) Her upper most tops (she is kinda staggered like a staircase.)
14.) Her biggest produceing top so far, also her main top. I like what I see.

And there we have it! Hope you enjoyed! Stop in again and say hello!

Good plants.......................
+rep.
TY I'm trying, still learning alot.

Dude, nicely done! With a 250 watter, you can get some amazing plants. They're starting to look frosty. And nice bong.:weed:
I love that bong, smooth smoke, glass on glass, love it, and ya for a 250 watt It looks like they are doing pretty damn good.

ALSO PICTURES UPDATE!!!!

So I transplanted Bonzai into a much bigger pot since her's has been a little too small for some time, and I'm sure that it is just hindering her big time, Transplanted into NO NUTE organic soil, there's NO perlite or anything so I'm going to have to watch my feedings and make sure not to drown her.

I aslo Worked on my grow room while I had her out for a minute, Hung SOME not finished yet lol, Foylon aka cheap wrapping paper (backside) the front is irrelevent. Thus giving my babes some additional light, I will be adding more in the coming days, hard on my back to work in there since I have to slouch. I also Cleaned up and re-organized everything, suspecting that the damp-rids may be ozone-dmging the lower leaves just a tad so they have been moved away from the plants, anyways without further ado!

~!~PICTURES~!~

3.) Almost charged!
4.) Fully charged
5.) Flash on HPs on (kinda natural color)

6.) 2nd canopy on Bonazai Getting plenty of light!
7.) Here's a shot before transplanting.
8.) The pot she was in. (for reference- pinkie to thumb is 9 inches)
9.) As you can see, she's pretty badly root bound.
10.) Here's her new home-r bucket.

11.) Here's her true color without the HPS.
12.) Same from top. You can see the ring of main tops and a second canopy below.
13.) I've been meaning to get a shot of it at night with my green 15w incandescent that I use to inspect them at night or transplant them cause green light does not affect there sleep and doesn't kill roots!

Here are some pics moments after the light booted on. Just a couple but just enough to check on Bonzai after her transplant.

1.) Entering the room.
2.) Top 3 tops on Bonzai, the best main is in the background. I love taking side side as it gives a good profile of weight and denseness.
3.) One of her 2nd tops, not lower canopy just not the best, but still great to me.
4.) Princess's main top at day 15 flower, she is doing awesome as well and is retaining her deep rich color.

5.) I was fucking with the camera (my gf's Expensive camera that I know how to point and click he he, but I'd rather dilly dally then have her teach me it's funner lol.)
Anyways to the picture info, Was messing around with the camera and got a nice shot of the best bud in the grow room, Bonzai's main top. She has been getting Super thrive a drop per gallon and 1 tsp per gallon unsulfered molasses till I give her roots a chance to recover before I blast them with nutes.

Well that's it for this morning, maybe some later, Just wanted to get some wake up shots :)

Hey man glad to see your still watching :).
And thanks! Glad to hear it!

I have been noticing some slight yellowing of Bonzai and w/o knowing for sure I have been letting her go and just giving her pure water, well it's getting worse so me thinks it's time for food!

But I didn't over do it 15-30-15 at the indoor "flower" dose, which is already 1/4th the dose for outside plants and I've used it before with no burn, It was the frequency of feedings that got "chance" in trouble.

I also put 1 tsp unsulfered molasses and a SUPER weak does of a transplanting anti shock treatment/root stimulator to hopefully knock off recovery time. 1 drop of Super thrive as well, It has a B-vitamin complex and also has anti-shock properties.

I'm going to be taking pics and posting them every few hours while the HPS is on and every few hours tomorrow as well to contrast and compare so If I see nute burn coming I can start flushing asap!

Although I expect them to be fine, just going to sit and watch for better colors :), if not I will have to think of what next step to take he he.

Well although I DID take pics every few hours, there was not the slightest hint of
ANY change until this morning where you can only see a slight amount of darker green color in the leaves, the REALLY yellow ones are either from P def, ph too low, or from one day when i forgot to water her and she COMPLETELY wilted into nothing, gave her water and she bounced back within 2 hours it was amazing....but the color in the leaves started at around the same time, it could also be a combo of all 3 which would explain for the lack of pics I can find relating to MY leaf descriptions he he.

Anyways heres some pics.
Same order/angle as best I could as last post.

N deficiency, not P.

ph too low,
Not likely, but it is a convenient way to explain that which we do not understand, a common occurrence. Sheesh, if a plant has troubles it either has to be a pH problem or ya need epsom salts.

or from one day when i forgot to water her and she COMPLETELY wilted into nothing, gave her water and she bounced back within 2 hours it was amazing....but the color in the leaves started at around the same time,
Nutrient uptake depends on a common carrier - water.

it could also be a combo of all 3 which would explain for the lack of pics I can find relating to MY leaf descriptions he he.

Ya I read your moisture stress post and a few others of yours UB and I loved them, I also decided that it was more likely N def but It was late so I didn't post my new Hypothesis "remember I'm not that exp yet and I'm only guessing.

Not likely, but it is a convenient way to explain that which we do not understand, a common occurrence. Sheesh, if a plant has troubles it either has to be a pH problem or ya need epsom salts.
Actually I just got a PH tester kit today, And I left out in my post that I had flushed the living shit out of Bonzai as her run off was ph'd 8!, which may be higher since that's as high as the ph tester goes. The feel of the water was that of a foot bath (high in salts almost feels soapy) So I was nute locking her as I suspected, in addition to toxic salt buildup I'm sure!. I gave her 6.5 ph'd water with Superthrive and thats IT!, keep pouring it on till the run off was no higher then 6.8-9 but I have a nifty ph test kit (for soil) and today the highest reading I could get was 7.0 with a low of 6.4 (depending on where I poked he he.)

I'm just glad I waited soooo long before just doing what it seems most do and see a pic from another thread go THATS IT and FERT THE SHIT out of their plant.
TY UB, love ur help, I'm going to be posting pics of those leaves, If you wanna check back later tonight or tomorrow :)
I'd love to hear ur input, Although I hope I got it on the right path now. Also I am trying to track down that Peters Bloom Booster, Do you know of a store that carries it? Or should I order online? :weed:
