88 year old mother in law in diapers also here, going into her 5th and last week thank god......pretty all consuming if you get my drift. Since she can't smell anyway, no worries. LOL

Quiet otherwise...........did I mention earlier I got my seeds for the next time from The Vault -Sweet Seeds "Jack 47" Fast Version. Many excellent ratings, very high reviews at Seedfinder BUT loads of sativa- not necessarily my preference. Went with a "Jack" Herer hybrid X AK 47. Weight won't be an issue with this one. I always wanted to do this one but 10+ weeks was a bit too much for me- F.V. will shave 7-10 days off the finish time.

Oh man, that must be hard. Sorry to hear! I hope you can get through the last week ok! It would be all consuming, I can only imagine.
Good work on the next choice too, anything with Jack in it is sure to yield well and be pretty potent as well!! I look forward to watching the grow!!

Wish these plants would stop elongating.........they keep stretching, and it's past 2 weeks since I switched over . I'll put up a pic later, may have to start bending some soon!!!!

A few plants on the perimeter have reached 6 ft., I'm guessing they've stretched looking for more light. My bulbs are less than 5 months old, and still seem fine. I'm guessing it's the skunk genetics in the makeup, those always seem to stretch more. Pic doesn't do the room justice......might ask Santa for a camera this year. Remember those tomato cages, good luck finding them anymore! Oh yeah, one more thing- see the nice bud structure already at 15 days!!!!!!

Yup......bong, to vape to joint....... He has a bunch of reviews on Youtube. I bet his tolerance is off the scale. LOL

I've done a ton of searching looking for grows, smoke reports, etc. and it does appear to be very well liked. Some growers claim it's their favorite strain after growing out 30+ strains. I don't necessarily like reviews from people who are buying it out of dispensary's and the like because you are dependent on the growers skills- some are good, some are only ok.

A lot of people only go around 60 days with it in flowering, but I'm thinking it will need between 65-70 to be properly finished, which I've allotted on my calendar......

Yeah I reckon his tolerance would be right up there! Pretty funny though.

Wow, it sounds like a real nice strain if the reviews are good, hard to knock it back hey! I reckon the extra days will make it a real knock out!!

I've done the HGK and OG #18 and they never were this bad........I even pinched a week before flowering to help control it a bit. I'm at day 18 and I think they are finally near the end......I've had to raise the lights at least 6 times the last 4 or 5 days!!!!

Leaving them in the dark for 24-36 hours when you first flip is supposed to help control the height too- next time as I'm thinking about doing their Sour Kush next after the Jack 47.......

I've long wanted to try the sour kush aka headband as well as candy kush skywalker in spite of a few challenges (real stretcher) is my favorite so far of dna r/p stuff that's why I'm so interested in the lemon walker it has almost same genetics as what you have going now which is looking good I'm set up for about 7' of growth if need be

That's crazy tall........FYI, not all the plants are 6 ft. tall. The tallest of the 25 plants, was taken out of the room weeks ago. I'd say around 25% of the plants are around 6 ft, most of the others are around 5 ft- very manageable. I just place the tallest ones on the perimeter so they don't burn being too close to the lights.

Next time around I'll pinch more than once and flower earlier. I may also add some additional lighting the 1st few weeks in flowering thinking this may help too.

Funny though, go back and read DNA's description about the Lemon OG, and they state it stays short........LOL

I doubt I ever use that kind of height but when putting together the room I had tubs with reservoirs under that in mind as well as some of the 5 gal bucket dwc setups & the fact you gotta drain them as well so all in all a 4ft. Well trained plant would work out good I remember barneys farm pineapple chunk really blew up on me I had to wire the reflector to the ceiling as there was no longer room for the yo yo hangers dealing with 25 plants you're bound to run into different phenos leaning towards one parent or the other & probably a few things in between

Hello SSHZ, looking good man! That lemon of is one of my fave. I only grew a 5 pack and seriously wanted to keep each one. Mine varied from pretty tall to medium in size. I bend and tie the tops as they shoot up fast so the undergrowth keeps up somewhat like a scrog with it starting when they are small. The stems have a tenancy to break they are so stiff. I have also done the #18 like yourself. I found them both great but the lemon got taller and put out more complex terpene profile. The earliest were finished around 62 days and I had one (the keeper) go 74. That was judging with a 60x magnifier. Also the lemon og beat the #18s as far as yield went but like I said taller to. I'm sure you will find some fire in there good luck. I have no pics currently of any growing but this is a dry pic from my last lemon of harvest. Hope you don't mind me posting it.

Yours may be done earlier than mine. I started growing organic a couple years ago and it seemed everything started growing longer. But I grow for a couple guys who are immune suppressed and worry about chems.
