Looks good fooling. I've heard the OG #18 has gone downhill lately, I've read some negative reports. I have the Lemon OG schedule for 70 days max, can't go any longer than that as people will be visiting and it must be dried and package by early July because of the smell. I may consider keeping the best of the room for a breeding project I have in mind, just depends on if I get a keeper. What percentage of amber were you looking for when you harvested????

At about 10% Amber is when I cut them. I have fooled with more and less but that seems about proper. At that point I can not find any clear ones or very few on lowers. If I cut them at about ten% it always seems like there are more when it is finally dry. I also have been harvesting the tops a week before the rest of the plant. Normally I don't do this but the tops stretch on mine so far it makes a difference to chunk up the bottoms. I did my #18s last year about the time I read it was no longer the same as the original. I can't say anymore as to whether it changed but I really enjoyed it. It didn't like to be cloned and I would have to take three for every one I needed. The lemon og clones easy. At least the one I kept.

I just cut some 2x alien og that went 86 days and no Amber. Like yourself they had to go. They were however sublime. If looking for another #18 cross.

Well, I got tired of looking at the plants closest to the door......the entire row of 6 was over 6 ft tall, and they weren't getting the proper light they needed. So, I ripped the room apart, pulled out every plant, cleaned up some, finished lollipopping the plants I couldn't reach earlier, removed the dying leaves and weak branches and cleaned the glass shields and put all the plants back in. I kept all the shorter plants 4-4.5 ft tall to the left and the taller plants under the taller light to the right. Enclosed is the pic of the room BEFORE the renovation.....and at eye level height so you can see how tall they got.

It's pretty obvious that the plants not getting proper light stretched upward. This strain needs a lot of light. The plants directly under the lights, getting a a lot of lumens, stayed around 4.5 ft, a nice manageable height. Enclosed is the picture after the move, not much to look at right now but in a few days the room will level out and fill in as the leaves move towards the light. Oh yeah, 3 weeks into flowering today, at least 6 more weeks to go, but probably closer to 7.

I was dreading it, but I knew it was coming........I always feel a lot better after it's done though. Well worth the 2+ hours of work in the long run.

Happy to report room is filling out nicely, I glad I spent the time moving everything around. It's really obvious now that he strain puts off 2 phenos, which was reported correctly on seedfinder.eu. The indica leaning pheno stays about 1 ft shorter and finishes quicker. The sativa one, is taller and takes a bit longer. It's also mentioned they both stretch a lot, which I missed I guess. Pic's will be up Monday which will be a month into flowering.......

4 weeks flowering today......check back to the 3rd week pic just above and you'll get a better picture of what's been going on.....some of the plants, maybe six went over 6 ft. I'm keeping the feeding simple: a mix of veg and bloom Botanicare Pure Blend Pro, Hydroplex Bloom Enhancer (0-10-6), Floralicious Plus, Flying Skull Z7 (acts as an enzyme) and 10ml per gallon Cal/Mag since I use R.O. water. pH is kept between 6.4-6.5 and PPM varies between 960 and 1300, depending on how the plants look to me. I've been watering every 2-3 days as needed- they have been drinking a lot lately, which is a sign of good health. Not one yellow leaf or evidence of any bugs or over feeding. It's a bit smelly, I have the ozone at full blast with 3 bulbs- but I expect the diesel stink soon enough. I also have NOT flushed the pots once since I started!

Hey Mo, where you be????????

Week 5 today in flowering...as usual, go back to last weeks pic to seem the progress. I've had to move the room around a few more times unfortunately, but as you can see, things have "chunked" up quite nicely.
