I don't call growing plants a skill. Seriously, they grow either way and have been growing without human help for a million years. I'm just helping nature do it's thing. It's nothing special. Anybody can do it.

I get what your saying but you only get out what you put in,
a basic grow with little effort will yeild a few oz's
if you put a lot of effort in, you could pull more than double the yeild under the same light and cut back on running costs
everyone can grow weed, but its the amout and qualty of the weed that counts
its not difficult to yeild 4 oz's under a 600w
but if difficult to yeild 12 oz's of high quality bud under a 600w
and where i live people pay upto £240 per oz's and i not paying that because i pulled a low yeild because i don't care how my plants turn out lol

No it absolutely is NOT difficult to grow 12 oz. under a 600 with side lights. This isn't rocket science! I average over a pound easy with 5 or 6 plants and I don't need screens, strings or any modern approaches to do it.
That's not to say don't try something different...It's just to say I'M not going to do anything different other than minor tweaks here and there...
I'm not a commercial grower, it's just a hobby. I'm totally 100% self sufficient for decades. I give excess away to friends. Your constant criticisms are irrelevant to me.
Grow on (your own way which is also obviously successful) and have a nice day over there in England.

Sorry fellow not trying to irrelevant you.
Hope you can grow 12oz's if you start adding side lights, problem is the watts and heat side lights use, add up quick
4 x 200w led/t5's will add up to 800w + the 600w hps, thats 1,400 kw per hour lol
smaller t5/leds than a 200w will not cover a 4ft (L)x 3ft (H) space
if you happy with your grow thats all that matters, I'm not a commercial grower and need to get every gram of bud i can from my room, if i end up with too much i can take a break from growing for a few mouths, save some money for and go on hoilday, its diffecult to go on hoilday when you grow perpetual
can't ask your neighbor to pop in and water the plants while your away lol

Bravo great job...you can always tell when somebody truly has love for this beautiful majestical plant and somebody who just think it's a weed. I treat my plants like I would treat my family or my pet and when a person does that you can tell. Pic Barney's Farm Critical Kush is at 42 days from seed 9 inches tall lollipoped last night in anticipation for flowering. Btw we all know a picture speaks a thousand words!!

The end result is all that matters, NOT the particular growing style. My 20 oz. in jars is the same as yours or anyone else's of the same strain. IT'S NOT ROCKET SCIENCE.

the way you grow and train the plants will make a huge diffence to the amout and quality of the buds in the jars
I had problems in my life and just let my plant do there thing in veg and flower.
pulled 4 oz's of low quality buds under a 600w hps (6 heathly untrained plants 18" under a 600w).
6 well trained plants in a scrog yeilded 1 pound of high quality bud, 12" under the 600w in a 4ft x4ft room
so yer it makes a big difference

I usually get more than a pound doing it my way. They don't need trained if you have vertical room. How many times are you going to preach the same stuff over and over? It's like a tired record already. I didn't ask for help. Don't be so close minded.
Anybody can grow weed. It doesn't have to be through a screen. It takes zero talent, zero skill. Just simple common sense.
It isn't that special. Anybody can do it. There are no rules.
I ALREADY GROW OVER A POUND. THAT'S ENOUGH FOR ME. DO YOU GET IT?

That's what I wanted to say but didn't feel like it I'm not sure he's going to get it especially when you're older you're stuck in your ways change is out the window! Btw no grow journal yet but I plan on getting one up soon. But I do have a journal up of my last grow pulled 20 ounces off of 600 watt light, it was called my first grow{not literally my first grow}. I don't know if you seen my thread called Advanced Nutrients are great!!! I was on fire in that thread! It's a good read.

Sit back and use your logical mind for one moment, if you're already getting a pound and you don't even care about your plants that much just imagine for one moment what u could accomplish if you put maximum effort into them you would probably be a growing guru!
