Hey tet I was wondering about that how can I aquire a food liscense? Would I need to have a commercial kitchen that I buy or rent out or are people allowed to do that at home

I'm not sure what all it entails. I don't sell 'em so I haven't gone through that. Edibles are just something I give away to my patients. Bending the law a bit there, I suppose.

It's not just edibles. Tinctures ,salves and lotions also need to be made in a licensed kitchen if you want to sell them.

Do people rent them out to caregivers because that can get pricey to make a batch of brownies "for sale" if you have to buy/build a building to code that will be acceptable to get a food vendors license.

Yes you can rent them out.

There is also a home food processor kitchen. It's not that hard to set one up.

hey hey hey! This is my thread! lol. Seems like most of the caregivers are out of central or southern maine. Southern maine makes sense, but central maine? Hmm. Im willing to travel, for anyone from like damiscottia to Camden or so. This new "caregiver" just called me and asked if I was ready to sign over my card, seems a little pushy to me. I said no, I needed to see whats out there, he sounded upset. Oh well.

I don't know. I just sent my first one, well two, because I didn't think it went through, and haven't heard back yet.

There is a check off box when you send a pm to email yourself a copy of your sent msg that way you can confirm

Nope. Not related to the sent messages. That stored message meant my inbox messages.
