I use Gaja green stuff for my organic grows.. sea kelp powder (add to water) 5ml per liter and use as spray after the first few sets of leaves start and do weekly in veg until week 1 bloom.1 cup 4-4-4 all purpose (use large tea bag) and a few table spoons molasses into 15 liters of water aerate for 24hrs (or shake up occasionally) 1 once a week. then 3 or for days later fish fertilizer mixed with water (start slowish then see how much the plant can take, every week add a little more) should keep em strong.
Thanks :)
However that's way out of my league for now. Newbie at this so I am using this to learn.. trail run.

most all the stuff should be available at a regular hardware store garden section.
just probably under some other barnd name

So much information to remember and apply. Being in Canada we don't have much for kelp / seaweed extracts (low numbers - 1-1-1) just pellets or slow release. That are 3-7-4 and up. I'm really flustered trying to figure out what I can buy to feed my plants. They look hungry.

Na man I've checked so many hardware stores, home Depot, nurseries, etc...I'm at a loss and worried I'm gonna end up killing my plants using the wrong crap.

Crazy, I was at 2 Canadian tires over the weekend and still didn't see any. Also can you tell me if this is true or not ? I'm in week 4 and I'm reading I should feed my plants. Something like FF Grow Big ( 6-4-4 ) but on here I'm am told I should be using something low like FF Big Bloom ( .01 - .03 - .07 )... What do you think ???

if your in veg (growing the plant) you would use grow big, and when your in bloom (making buds) the big bloom.
the veg i use is 4-4-4 the bloom i use is 2-8-4 and i add a little bat guano (high phosho) too and use the fish emulshion all the way thru veg and bloom.
and use the sea weed or kelp up until first weeks of bud

I've been using it I'm pretty sure they just started carrying it last Month because it was on the end of the aisle display. The brand is Rubicon organics. I never picked up their fish emulsion cause I still have some Alaska left. But I did notice the 4Land 1L jugs of fish emulsion have different npk ratios

A tip on the Gaia Green. I use the power bloom 2-8-4 instead of the all purpose because the pk in the mix take longer to break down and become bioavailible. I find that nitrogen is a lot easier to come by and breaks down alot faster to supplement during veg growth. Then by the time flowering hits then your pk will be ready. For N i mostly use Fish emulsion in soil drench. Alfalfa meal I cook in soil early spring before planting and in my worm casting tea. And I also foliar fees my plants with multi-crop water soluble seaweed extract. The Rubicon marinas I have only used in solution so far not as a foliar.
