Does anyone know for sure what is causing this black colour on buds?

I've chopped the taller one

Just an idea next time those plants veg out alot longer before you flower them, extra 30 days veg would have gotten you several ounces instead of flowering a plant thats 3 to 4 weeks old. Here is my plant topped 2 times and vegged for 50 days this is 37th day of flower I average 10 to 11 ounces per plant. This one is probably gonna be closer to 8 or 9 as i didnt veg it the full 60 days.

Nice plant bud. Unfortunately i was growing outdoors so i didnt have the luxury of controlling the stages

My bad didnt know that part of it figure outside it would veg for several months, was it an auto?

just the bud with rot, id also recommend washing your buds incase there are dead insects or mold.

are dead insects a problem? i dont really like the idea of wetting them

The buds dry lol, would you rather smoke a dead bug??? plus if you have any mildew it will wash that away as well, you need to research washing your buds its amazing what it does and the shit that comes off them dirt dust hair bugs etc i was mine and i grow inside makes the smoke 10x smoother.

Bud washing? Iv never heard of this, if possible could you send me a link to this info

I prefer the second method, 2 grows ago i had a mild case of WPM and actually did the cerventes way first and then did the lemon juice and soda process second, didnt do it on my last harvest and can tell you there was a huge diffrence in the smoothness of the smoke
