Does Hydro yeild more than soil?,,, if so how much

If you do perpetual grow ( veg room and flower room), soil the best way, try keeping a plants small for 6 weeks in hydro system till the flower room is ready,
would not be easy.

In soil the veg room can be a lot smaller saving space, time, money on electria,nutes and equipment.
you only need 4-5 weeks in veg to grow a few large plants in soil.

pro grower that has been growing for years may pull a little more in hydro than soil, but the cost of the best hydro system and extra labor time, equiment, its just not worth it

It cost me less than £30 per oz over over the last few years in a perpetual setup and i am still finding ways to reduce the cost per oz
using less nutes, reusing 50% of the soil, cutting back on light in veg, using the heat from the veg room to keep the flower room warm ect

The temps can be 20c - 35c (lights on) flower room can drop down to 10c and go upto 35c lights out, makes little diffentce to the plants in soil,

would'nt this mess up the root mass in water at theses extreme temps.

power cut, in soil not a problem as the plants could last a few days even in flower, bad news for hydro, can kill your plants in an hour with some systems

can't really see any gain of Hydro vs soil,

my skunk 1 grow looks like its only going to take 11 weeks from seed to havest in soil, don't think you could do any quicker in hydro,
there only 4 plants under a 600w hps :)

Edit: that's a half gallon mason jar, and i flushed those for about 3 weeks prior to harvest. 81 days flowering time

They gave a return no doubt, i want to see how you set them up under the light? I want to know how the hell a 600 did that to the tops and the sides of 4 plants! Please! Lol

dude i am telling you... grow tent... 600 watter... no tricks no co2. age old organics (which is really not organic as i come to find out most stuff "organic" still kills soil microbes that comes from a bottle, with a few exceptions of course. i used 1 tsp of organic bloom boost at transplant before flower, and topdress 1tsp of the same thing at 3wk point. it's all about canopy management.

how can it be wet still when the stems snap? i'd like to understand your logic behind that.

i wasnt asking for any. i'm asking you to use your words to explain how bud is wet when the stems snap. and also what the RH of your buds is when they're "done" so you say, but never explain what "done" is.

look over the site and everyone knows you need the humidty to be 40 -50% in late flower to reduce the chace of bud rot !!

when you put buds in a jar the humidty with rise a little, so your happy with your buds sitting at 70 in a jar, tell you what, stick all the buds in jars in the cupboad for a week
and tell us what they look like lol

my buds have been in jars for months, they look like buds that have cured properly. i've had my herb sent to a lab and had no mold or hyphea of any kind. I know what bud mold is, i've seen it before. you are calling me a newb and a rook, but i dont think you even have a hygrometer in your jars... you have no clue what your RH of the buds are... that is a fact, i can tell

Lets not get off on a tangent here you slippery jive talkin turkey you. You said hitting 24
to 32 zips was easy. And you had a black domina "that puts out the weight man" Then you showed 2 typical plants. They were nice from what i saw but typical. Everyone with a slight application of skill grows those. You got a tent. And nothing overlaps cuz of fans. Organic soil and its all about grower skill. Correct me if iam wrong. Dont know how to do the quotes yet. But anyway...something to the effect of its easy and if your not getting.them numbers your doing something wrong. Am i pretty much rite so far? This is what i gather you were implying. And is this big awesome domina harvey from air cooled hoods with glass in this tent?

I run mine thru a trimmer and straight into storage totes... I dump those totes and refill them daily until the rh goes below seventy.... Then I put lids on open a crack ...dump and refill a couple more days.... Then I go thru and cut out all the big stems put em back in the boxes w the lids cracked.... As the rh goes down I close the lids more until its shut.... Shake the boxes daily.... Couple months of this they come out around forty and ready to smoke

Smoking that wet stuff is gonna make you sick.... Miss school

Did i miss something? You add bloom boost before stretch? Is this how you get 3lbs per hort 1kw everytime? Amazing. Private message me with a diy and ill gladly try to do it for you. Ive got 32 afghan kush beans and 300gallons of cooking soil (real organic) ready to be mixed. I use a strict water only grow with hot organic soil tailored to each cut or seed gene. Adding even a slight amount of P too early will burn them.

When it comes to canopy management, i am FORCED to train perfectly. I cant afford tops touching 1000watt bulbs. A side note, 2.4lbs was an amazing grow for me. I still average 1.8-2.2lbs per harvest

I grow plants under a 600w in soi and my plants never grow large good qualty buds at the base of the plant,
like every one else i get some airy buds, how did you pull this off ?

You can tell guys like SPL know what the fuk they are doing. Again...its obvious. The kid is a rookie. You can tell. He doesnt have 5+ years experience and he doesnt even get 24 zips a sixer. Hes a typical kid with a tent that finally cranked out some buds and is really excited about it. No exp grower would post pix like that. Most really pros are humble and always talk their shit down. Always saying "i should of done this" i should of done that" while showing you a big bad clean ass room with a sea of colas tearing through the trellis netting. This kids a rookie folks. He got called out. Hes slightly backtracking. Hes typical. All the forums are loaded with em. Especially here on rollitup. When yoh hear bowshit claims you got to call em out on it. Even if you were Thor himself you dont make the claims this kid is claiming. Pure rookie. He knows it. We know it. Hes full of shit.
