Does it hurt to get a dog high from a few hits?

Just got one of my dogs higher then ever last night,
she was tripping out crazy.
Jumping everywhere and happy as hell.
Next thing she was chilling, but hyped up at the same time.
She looked like she was tripping on shrooms or something and starring into space.
I dont want answers like, "No it doesnt", or simple things.
Im looking for an explaination as well and as a scientific answer behind it aswell.
More as a Clarification to your answer.
I want to know what it does to their body and if they like it or feel uncomfortable
to them.
Yes I love marijuana but its not for everyone.
So im seeing if its for dogs,
just always tempted to smoke my dogs out everytime I spark up.
:peace: & Thanks for the Input!

I dont think there has ever been a study of the effects of cannabis on canines. I have first hand knowledge that it's ok to give a dog pain killers when they get hurt. Also they use anti-anxiety pills for canines that are almost identical to the pills we take. If you're looking for scientific answers you'd be better off asking google.

I dont want to hear shit from google,
cause whether or not you know,
everything that will pop up on google is false.
They make marijuana look bad,
with humans and animals.
So im turning to RIU for help,
and im not really asking for a right on science worded sentence,
just an answer and a little bit clarification on what makes you think that way.
Peace.

depends how you're smoking her up. if you're holding her down and forcing her to get high, yeah probably. but if she's letting you blow smoke at her without moving away or whining, then safe bet is she doesn't mind

Never! Lol I aint about that.
But I just take a hit, pet her,
she closes her eyes and relaxes,
and I just blow it in her face while im petting her.
She doesnt mind.
But she trips like crazy.
Thats what I dont feel comfortable about.

If everything you see on google is false, you don't know how to do research. 99.99% of the responses on here if any are going to be personal opinion or regurgitation of shit found on google.

I tripped out when I first started smoking pot too ha ha. I wouldnt worry about it.

is she a big dog or small one? because I have a small one (miniature dachshund) that hid under the covers and slept after just one small hit, and I have a larger one (golden retriever) that stayed with me and my friends as we passed a bong around for about three hours.

If i were to type is marijuana good for a dog?
The key words the computer would look for is,
"Is, marijuana, good."
Thats what will come up,
and since their are alot of funds for the War on Drugs,
alot of nonsense will pop up saying how bad marijuana is.

Yea theres has been a study done on dogs...they injected the dogs in the jugular...the conclusion was that they could not give a dog a lethal dose....the dog would just display weird behavior eventually fell asleep until the effects wore off......vets will try to convince you it's dangerous to get some money out of you and yes your dog might display weird behavior but it is not permanent.......even when the dog is exposed or has injested large quantities of cannabis it can sleep it off.....
